Tiffany

Hearing about the breakup of Lucy and Noah apparently made it okay for me to go on the show even though she was still going to be there. A lot of things were shaking in Hollywood currently and my company didn’t want to shake more.

That didn’t mean that I didn’t keep my righteous anger about everything though. I was still very mad over their actions and the decision they made without involving me. Since Josh represented my company for me, he has been the one getting the blunt of my disapproval about what they did.

I was backstage at a talk show, still not talking to Josh. “What do you want me to do? Clean your tears and apologize for something which I have no control over besides you are both his ex so I don’t see the reason why you should still hate the show. You were excited for the show before you knew who that particular housemate is…” When I raised an eyebrow he corrected himself. “Well as much as a woman of your complexities can be.  Tiffany, you have to give this a chance and I mean a real chance okay because we both know how your half chance look like and bitchy you is not something you should show on that reality tv.

“A show that runs for two weeks, my free two weeks break. How do you expect I would take the work before and also I will be walking with other stars and their touchy egos, I don’t see how this would be nice. ” I replied Josh who frowned as he rubs his eyebrow.

“I think I prefer you being silent.” He mumbled and I gave him the stink eye.

“I don’t understand why I am being made to wait.” I gritted out as I thought about spinning on my heels and leaving this damn interview behind.

“You are being made to wait so that they will wrap up the former interview.” Josh answered me for what seems to be like the tenth time within an hour frame, him providing me that answer doesn’t seem to work for me as I am still angry.

“Places people. Tiffany, you go on in ten seconds.” A technical member of the unit said as I scoffed.

Finally! I don’t remember the last time I was made to wait for something in the show business. Everybody waited for me not the other way round.

When the cue was given, I strut to the stage as if I can buy the place and I know it. Maybe I could buy the place for fun and giggles because I could. I don’t really check my finances anymore, I was content with the thought that whenever I want to get something, my money can afford it.

“Hello Jerry.” I greeted the host with a tilt of my chin in return to his wide smile. His smile reduced an inch but I scoff. When will these showbiz people realize that I am not like any other star and get it in their heads? Men greeted them with a handshake and a one arm hug while ladies with air kisses and quite frankly I prefer the guys’ mode of greeting. I will not look silly trying to kiss the air all in the name of going with the flow.

“Well, I have a second guest here tonight, I know it is a surprise but I think you folks at home will love this.” Jerry went on as it became my turn for my eyes to narrow an inch. What was this man trying to pull?

“I give you all Lucy Banks. Come out here Lucy.”  A familiar red head came into the makeshift stage where I was already seated. I looked towards my manager who didn’t inform me that I would need to play nice to a fellow star on the show. Well this one was certainly not someone I have worked with but her face look familiar.

When I saw Josh face red and yelling at somebody, I knew that this was not planned by my company.

“Hello Tiffany, hello Lucy.” Jerry started, rubbing his palms together. “It is an honor to have both of you here together, allowing this to be the first exclusive anyone has gotten neither of you since the new break up.”

“Break up? Was I dating someone on the net and I was not aware of it?” I asked the host with confusion in my gaze. This was getting weirder by the second.

“No, not you. Lucy was.” Jerry stated.

“Then why am I being included in her break up?” I asked this time, getting angry. I will walk off, no matter if the cameras are still rolling. It has happened before and I can do it again.

“Because she is the person who was dating Noah.” Lucy responded before facing me. “And your fellow contestant in the reality show coming up.”

“Oh.” Was what came out of my mouth, I relaxed back into my seat and looked at Josh again to see him just outside the line if the cameras which were filming this pre reality show moment. He looked stressed out and angry. Normally Josh always look angry, managing me was not an easy task but one he manages well but this type of anger was not the normal one. Those one was the one which stated that he was minutes away from bursting a blood vessel and when he kicked something in anger, I changed my minutes to seconds.

“So Miss Tiffany, I can assume that from your expression, you were not aware of the extra guest. Seems like your company heads kept you out of the loop.”

“Well. Let’s hope that it all it is because if it isn’t you might find yourself out of a job.” I responded and when Jerry smile turned to a frown I smiled but I didn’t recall my words.

“So I will leave the small questions of why the break up happened to the gossips rags. What I am interested in is why Noah releases a new song when he is heartbroken. So his teams says.”

“You are asking the wrong people Jerry.” I drawled. “Maybe you should call his agent and ask them this time”

Jerry laughs, same as Lucy.

“Okay but I would like to play his song for the both of you, so that you can tell the audience behind the lyrics. Maybe it will give us an insiders scoop on how Noah’s mind works.

“Sure.” Lucy nodded as they played the only of Noah’s song which I have listened to. The first ever one he released with the bands and also the latest ones too.

“Drugs, women. No loyalty.” I replied at the end of the song.

“Come on Tiffany, give us something better.” Jerry said as I rolled my eyes.

“I did give you something at all. You should be okay with that.” I stared down at jerry. “Why are we even discussing Noah?”

“Because he will be one of the men in the reality tv series.” Jerry answered.

I couldn’t hide the shock in my gaze, I turned to look at Josh to see he was sporting a replica image of my shock on his face.

“Now, unto the next song. Lucy, it is your turn.”  After they giggled and exchanged small talks and worships, they started to play Noah music.

It was our song but seriously modified. Instead of events we wanted to do, the song was filled with events which we did. I was dumb founded and my guards went down. For a brief second, my guards went down. On national tv and a show which more than half of California was watching life.

“Are you okay?” Jerry asked me confused but I just stood up and walked off stage. Josh followed behind me until we got to the car.

“Get me out of here Josh, I can’t breathe,”

“Josh, didn’t blink an eyelid as he scrambled to do what asked.
