I Paid the Man Who Crippled My Husband

There was no feeling worse than being in a one-sided love. Caroline never thought that she would find herself in this kind of a situation.

Growing up, she was a bubbly girl admired by many. Now she was a sorry excuse of a woman who wasn’t sure of the direction of her life. she couldn’t even hold her head up high and look at her peers.

All just because of a man who didn’t deserve her.

It hurts so deeply to think that her husband was with another woman right at that moment. It even hurts so bad to think that he was giving her the affection and love that she should be the one receiving.

Why the hell couldn’t her heart let go?  She gave him everything and all that she asked for was a little bit of love. Was she that repulsive?

The heart break was too much for her to handle.  She didn’t have the patience to stay when the woman that he loved came back.

 It was time to end things and go back home.

Holding the phone tightly in her hands, she made the important call that she should have made a long time ago. She didn’t understand why she was still hesitating. Love sometimes makes a person do stupid things.

She has been foolish thinking that she could melt his cold heart.  Where has that led her?  with a broken heart that she wasn’t sure if someone else will ever repair.

“Kindy come home. We need to talk “she said coldly as soon as his voice came over the phone. It seems that today he was in a good mood because most of the times, he would ignore her calls or snarl back at her especially late hours in the night not caring that she was worried sick about him.

 She bet that the slut who calls herself her cousin was with him.

“Wait up for me. I am coming after I am done over here “he said it casually as if he wasn’t doing anything bad. She could hear Paula’s voice as she giggled on the background and she felt so jealous that she wanted to hit something.

Not even a single time in their marriage did she let herself feel that free. He judged everything that she did, nothing made him satisfied. It was what he wanted and what was best for him. She lived for him and forgot to take care of herself

 She was even ashamed of looking at herself in the mirror, because the image which looked back was not hers. The shiny face and the sparkle in her brown eyes were long gone. She was basically lifeless yet this man never cared.

He continued with his life as if everything was normal.

While in this marriage, she missed everything colorful about life. He never laughed with her or cracked jokes as other married couples did. Let alone go on a date and bond. She was always locked in that tiny space they call a home.

If anyone could ask her to describe her experience, she would say that she was in jail.

 It was simply a necessity for her to be his wife and unhappy shadow. God knows how badly she was tired and disheartened. Now more than ever, she couldn’t wait for it to be over.

 It was a mistake from the very beginning to accept this marriage.

5 years was a long time for someone to keep on yearning for something that could never be. If she could go back in time, she wasn’t even sure what she would have done because this man was her greatest crush during her teenage years.

However, she could never have him because he was her cousin’s boyfriend until a tragedy occurred.

Wesley was involved in a serious car accident and couldn’t walk for almost a year. It was around the same time that he was supposed to get married to Paula, the love of his life.

On the day of the wedding, Paula disappeared in to thin air leaving a note behind that she wasn’t ready to get married to a crippled man. Wesley was devastated. Caroline’s grandmother thought so hard and in order to avoid shame, she asked Caroline to take her cousin’s place.

 She was happy. she was practically over the moon but the man wasn’t thrilled at all. sitting on his wheelchair, he had sneered and whispered in her ears “I will never love you. It is your cousin that hold my heart “

She shallowed her bitter saliva and replied “I will do my best to love you as my husband. I apologize for my cousin’s behavior and I hope that one day you will forgive her. “

 Now 5 years gone, she has realized that he meant every single word that he had said to her that day.

Wesley never forgave her just for one reason. she shouldn’t have accepted her grandmother’s proposal and for that matter he vowed to make her life a living hell.

Only, she couldn’t believe that he will keep his word.

“Come back to earth “someone touched her face and she almost jumped out of the bed in fright.

“Wesley …” she called with a trembling voice.

“What are you busy thinking about now? “he asked as he proceeded to take off his coat. He hanged it on the hook and came back to her side while looking at her strangely. She had never seen that look before and she couldn’t tell what exactly was going on in his evil mind.

Wesley couldn’t deny that Caroline was perfect in every way. She has taken care of him well over the years but he couldn’t change the way that he felt.

Forcing herself into his life made him hate her and yearn for the love of another woman who he couldn’t have 5 years ago.  Now that she was back, he was ready to say his special goodbye.

“You are back early. I thought that you were going to take a little while with your mistress. Did she send you away that fast? “Caroline said with contempt. She wished that she could strangle that woman to death for always being her shadow in this marriage.

Wesley lifted his hands and started caressing her face “You are two different people, Caro. You have no right to mention her name. She is the love of my life and you are the woman that I am with now and the one that I want to fuck so hard right now. Do you have any objections?” He commanded and started teasing her lips with his mouth.

 Caroline shivered but at the back of her mind, she was determined to finish what she had started or else she will be consumed in unforgettable passion. She wouldn’t find the courage to start this conversation again.

“I wanted to tell you something ….” she started to say but the man silenced her with another hot breathtaking kiss. He clearly wasn’t interested in what she had to say.

 “Not now, after we are done fucking each other.” He commanded with dominance.

 Why the hell couldn’t she find the courage to push him away?

“I am so hot ….” She whispered finally closing her eyes and surrendering in to her crazy desires. She could never resist his magic hands and his sweet lips. They were like a magnet that attracted her like hell whenever he was being gentle and wasn’t being a pain in her ass.

“You look sexy when you are horny. It is the middle of your period? Anyway, never mind. I am in the mood of getting dirty with you tonight. I am going to take care of you so so bad.
