Chapter 2: You think I still love you?

"Flying Star’s candidates are getting more and more interesting, someone even applied for the position of CEO's girlfriend?" Louis closed the door, leisurely sat down in the chair next to Harry, and spoke softly.

 

"It's an honor for me to meet my boss here."

 

Katherine smiled confidently and reached forward, offering to shake hands with him.

 

Harry sat silently watching, silently assessing this woman. Her bravery was great. He looked at the way she talked and broke out in a cold sweat for her.

 

The boss of Flying Star rarely appeared on television, even reporters wanted to interview some information about him... The day she disappeared, he made hundreds of phone calls and stayed in front of her house for many nights. But the house was always dark. A few days later, someone moved in, they said the previous owner of this house had sold it to them.

 

A 20-year-old girl with her parents seemed to disappear from this world overnight. And now she appeared in front of him with a completely unfamiliar name.

“Do you want to know why I left you that year?”

 

She paused for a second, then continued, “And the scar on my wrist?”

 

Louis turned his head to see her holding up her wrist for him. On her white wrist appeared a very long scar, even he looked at it for the first time and was shocked.

 

Katherine understood his personality well. That year she suddenly left without explanation, surely an arrogant person like him couldn't accept the fact that he was abandoned.

 

And now, she will make good use of this point to provoke him.

 

But she miscalculated that he was no longer the Louis William who loved her 7 years ago. He was also not the boy next door who often played with her and went to school with her from elementary school to university.

 

For the past seven years, Louis William might have soon lost all hope in his old love, and he no longer cared how she lived or died.
