CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE: I Saw You Die

A long creak whispered in my ears. I groaned and covered my ears with a pillow. I turned to the edge of the bed facing the cabinet. The creak kept on slipping through the pillow and annoyed my ears. I slightly opened my eyes. Half awake, I witnessed the wardrobe’s door slowly cracked open on its own until it swung wide to the sides. A pair of hand stretched out from the inside and was followed by a long messy hair touching the floor. My throat ran dry. My fear awakened me. Slowly, a lady in red crawled out with her face covered with her messy hair. She finally got out of the furniture on her knees and with palms pressed against the tile floor.

I cautiously covered my mouth with both hands not making any noise. I gasped when she snappily tilted her head in my direction. She crawled fast in my direction. I got up on my butt and kicked on my bed squeezing myself against the headboard.
