CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE: Past

“I... killed you,” I repeated looking at him.

He hissed with eyes unbelievably staring at me. “Are you really going that far just to drive me away?”

I shook my head shutting my eyes firmly and yelled. “I... I killed you!”

He stretched his arm to hold both of my shoulders. “Okay... calm down, Serra–”

“Don’t touch me!” I shove his hand away.

What I did made the both of us froze. Seeing his eyes that were in pain pinched my heart. I want to grab unto him to make up with what I did, but I couldn’t bring myself to do so. I lifted my hand multiple times to reach for him but those times ended the same way, I hesitated and lowered my hand.

I curled my fingers into fists and hid them behind me. I tightened my fist. I was still shivering. I lowered my face, closed my eyes and gritted my teeth. I’m afraid. I am more frightened right now than the times I risked my life. I might end up doing the same thing in my vision. I am scared of the possibility of hurting him, putting an end to his exis
