"I don't think it's fair to break the promise….it's not fair, it was her last wish. She wanted us to get married," Valerie said in a sad tone with teary eyes. Tyler just looked at her emotionless, without saying a thing.

'Jeez…looks like he's not buying my crocodile tears.' Valerie thought to herself while gazing at Tyler with teary eyes.

"Aren't you going to say something? I've been talking to myself all this time!" She felt irritated that he was quiet while she kept on talking for like thirty minutes.

"I don't have anything to say to you……so if you're done, please leave my office?" Tyler casually said, without even looking at her. He used to be so attentive toward her. "Grandma would want both of us to be happy…so I'm trying to be happy here." Tyler immediately stood up and walked out of the office.

Valerie was still seated on the sofa, wondering what he meant when he said, 'Grandma would want us both to be happy.'

She was hoping he was not planning on not marrying her, that would ruin her plans.

After some time, Tyler walked back into the office, carrying documents in his hand, and Immediately after he entered, Jordan followed him behind. Valerie's heart jumped, What the hell is he doing here?

Jordan briefly looked at Valerie and faintly smiled at her.

"Ummm….Tyler, w-what's going on?" Valerie's heart was pounding faster than usual, she was nervous and scared, seeing Jordan in Tyler's office, she felt like the plan was in jeopardy. But then a thought appeared, 'Did Tyler decide to mend their friendship?'

It made sense, they looked like the bestest friends before something happened, and Tyler was a forgiving guy as far as she knew, so he was going to forgive Jordan all because he was a forgiving guy.

Jordan took a seat on the chair, Liam seemed to not pay attention to him, his focus was on his cellphone.

After some time, Tyler finally set his cellphone down on the table. He looked a bit startled to see Jordan, it was like he didn't know he was there, "Yes, how can I help you Mr...Blanco?" He was irritated by just looking at the guy, he looked at Valerie as if he was suggesting she came with him. "How can I help you?" Tyler asked coldly.

Suddenly, Jordan had a livid expression on his face, he glared at Tyler and then sternly replied, "You know why I'm here Logan!"

His breathing became so loud, that it was impossible to not realize how furious Jordan was, that greatly worried Valerie, what if he attacks Tyler? What if he turns into a wolf right now? Valerie silently stood up, and quietly took a few steps toward Jordan, just in case he decides to do something stupid, she'll be able to stop him. Jordan turned to gaze at Valerie, disappointment in his eyes.

Jordan then shifted his gaze to Tyler and continued talking, "You took everything from me Logan, I worked my ass for that."

Tyler had a perplexed look upon hearing that. "I did what now? I have no idea what you're talking about Mr Blanco." Tyler replied, mockery in his tone. "All I did was fire you and your girlfriend, I didn't take whatever you owned Blanco." He mockingly waved his hand at Jordan, "Now get out…take your girlfriend with you."

"He's not my boyfriend!" Valerie spoke out.

"I did…I took whatever you owned Mr Blanco… Mr. Tyler has nothing to do with that." A familiar voice from behind Valerie said, she turned to see who it was. To her surprise it was Anna, her sister?

'what is she doing here?' Valerie thought to herself.

'Lady Anna? What the hell is she doing here?' Jordan thought to himself. Anna glared at him, making him tremble in fear.

She walked further into the office,

While holding a few documents in her hands. "Mr Blanco….During your three years working as vice director here, you stole huge amounts of money." She said slowly.

Tyler didn't look surprised at all, which worried Valerie and Jordan. They all started wondering if Tyler knew that they were vampires, cause if he knew that wouldn't be good.

"I'm sorry who are you, again?" Tyler asked with a puzzled look on his face. Jordan and Valerie silently sighed in relief because Tyler didn't know Anna.

But then Anna gave Valerie a cold glance, making her shiver. Anna then widely smiled and replied, "I'm the new director, sir, Anna Ellsworth."

Jordan's mouth was agape.

Tyler flashed a beautiful smile and sat back on the chair. "Okay go on then director."

Anna gave Jordan another look and continued, "Mr. Blanco, I suggest that you get a very good lawyer…." She paused and glared at Valerie, "I suggest that to the former director too."

Jordan didn't say a thing, he humbly walked out of the office. His walking out of the office had a lot to do with Anna's presence more than anything else. Jordan knows that Anna was sent to the human world by the council, so he wouldn't dare cross her, as that would be treason.

Valerie on the other hand just didn't care about the council, they couldn't touch her. She only cared about Tyler, well his wealth.

"Hey, I'm Anna Ellsworth, nice to meet you." Anna's voice jerked Valerie back to reality, "You must be the former director, the one who resigned a week ago." She stretched out her hand to shake Valerie's hand.

Valerie flashed a sarcastic grin.

"Yes, it must be nice to meet me." She sternly looked her in the eyes as they shook hands, Valerie pinched her arm. "Ouch." Anna faked feeling pain.

Tyler was still seated on his chair, looking at his computer, while eating an apple, he wasn't paying attention to Valerie and Anna. He couldn't care less about what other people were doing. Well, that's what he believed now, he believed he was a different person.

"Umm….sir, I'll take my leave now," Anna said to Tyler as he took a bite off his apple. He just waved his hand at her, gesturing to her to leave.

Anna walked out of the office, but not before giving Valerie another cold glare.

Valerie turned her gaze to Tyler, he was still on his computer, sitting on his office chair looking like a boss, he looked so different now. Even the way he talked ever since she got here is different, he used to talk so charmingly, and he used to look at Valerie all the time, he used to be crazy for her. Now it was like she was invisible to him. He was just cold to her.

"You're still here," Tyler said, pulling Valerie out of her thoughts.

"Where else would I be Love." Valerie seductively said, she walked over to his desk and leaned on the desk, "I want to spend time with my future husband, the love of my….."

Stacey walked in, interrupting Valerie's sentence. Boy, the girl had bad timing.

She glanced at Valerie, walked over to Tyler's desk where Valerie and Tyler were seated, and took the documents that Anna left, she didn't even say a word to Valerie or Tyler. She was still mad at Tyler for calling her babe just so he can make Valerie jealous.

"I still haven't read those." Tyler calmly said as she was about to leave, she turned back and threw the documents on the desk, she looked mad. But Tyler wasn't done with using her.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I just did the first thing that came to my mind," Tyler apologized with a sad expression on his face, he took Stacey's hands and formed an apologetic gesture with his Palms. "I'm so sorry that last night ended up with me in your bed."

"Say what?" Valerie shouted, with a glare at Tyler, she felt jealous, which was weird to her by the way. "You did what?" She instantly felt like doing something crazy to them, but before thoughts like that became actions:

Stacey slapped Tyler across the face, "I quit." She then turned to Valerie and explained.

"It's a lie! Okay…..he wants to make you jealous…so you'll leave him alone." Stacey angrily said and walked out of the door.

Tyler angrily took a seat at his table, his last resort of sending Valerie away didn't work, and every second he stayed with Valerie in the room…

"Tyler….my car broke down, so take me home, in your car?" Valerie ordered and walked out.

'If he refuses I'll go back and shamelessly sit inside the office.' Valerie thought to herself.
