MasukChapter 13
Confused Vanilla had just entered the dining room and was stunned to see who was there. Nick, the man sitting on the dining chair was enjoying breakfast at her home with Xaviera. "Nick...." Vanilla actually seemed to groan calling the man's name. "Honey, good morning. Come here," said Xaviera, the woman was pouring milk into a glass. While Nick, the man just grinned. However, his eyes looked at Vanilla softly, longingly as if he hadn't seen her in years. "Why are you here?" asked Vanilla as she pulled up a chair next to Xaviera. She deliberately didn't take the seat next to Nick because she felt very nervous about getting too close to him. "I wanted to have breakfast here," Nick replied, his eyes fixed on Vanilla whose face looked red. Vanilla spluttered in her heart at the man's answer, she thought it was just an excuse, there was nothing more reasonable than to share breakfast at someone else's house while he was a wealthy man. However, she couldn't help but feel very happy that Nick had come to see her so early morning. Xaviera placed a glass of milk in front of her daughter and then got two pieces of sausage and eggs on an empty plate. "I don't want egg whites," Vanilla said quickly. She had disliked egg whites since childhood. "You can separate them," Xaviera said, the woman shook her head slowly. "Give it to me, you can have my yolk too," Nick said. Vanilla's eyes lit up like stars in the dark. When she was little, she and Beck used to fight because Beck wouldn't trade the yolk for Vanilla. Beck also loved egg yolks, just like Vanilla. But, Nick was willing to do it, the man was willing to exchange the yolk on his plate. "You're very understanding, thank you." Vanilla hurriedly separated the yolk from the white and exchanged it with the yolk on Nick's plate, the girl grinned happily. Nick smiled, he felt very anxious to see Vanilla's behavior which turned out to be not as bad as Beck told him. The girl in front of him was hardworking, determined. But, still a spoiled girl according to her position as an only child who must have been spoiled by her parents plus Beck's parents also spoiled Vanilla from what Nick heard from Beck. While Xaviera, the woman smiled contentedly watching the sweet scene in front of her. Her feelings warmed up every time Nick was with Vanilla, as if she was young again, and made her remember the man she loved with all her heart until now, Vanilla's late father. After breakfast Xaviera hurried away from the dining room. Leaving the two young people in love alone made Nick secretly feel very grateful because Xaviera was a very understanding woman. Vanilla got up from her seat, she stepped into the backyard followed by Nick, she stopped by the pool. "Why are you here?" Vanilla repeated her question because Nick had not answered her question earlier. Nick grabbed Vanilla's palm and landed a peck on her fingertips. "I missed my future lover." Vanilla's face blushing, her heart felt like it was about to jump out of her chest cavity at Nick's words. "But, I haven't said yes yet," she sighed. "I'm afraid I'm sure you will." Nick stroked Vanilla's fingers with the tip of his thumb. "Can't you wait until tomorrow?" Nick kissed Vanilla's fingertips again. "Tomorrow and today are different days, but I can't afford not to see you even for one day." The man stared at Vanilla's delicate fingers. Vanilla looked down at her fingers that were in Nick's power. "You seduce me too much, I'm sure there are many girls who have fallen to you." Nick stopped rubbing Vanilla's fingers, he shifted his focus to Vanilla's face. "You're right." Nick's confession felt like part of the storm that hit Vanilla's feelings. True, Nick was a handsome, respected, and wealthy man. There were many girls with him, no doubt. She would only be Nick's temporary plaything before he got bored and dumped her. "But, I want to try a serious relationship with you," Nick said before Vanilla could respond. Vanilla's lips parted, she returned Nick's gaze. Searching for the truth in the man's eyes. The girl sighed softly and exhaled silently. "No Nick, I can't." Vanilla's heart ached as she said it. Trial relationship, Nick just wanted a trial relationship. What if someday she really fell in love with that guy and only she felt that feeling while Nick did not. She didn't want to be dumped a second time. "You rejected me?" Vanilla sighed softly. "No, that's not it...." "So, you accept me?" "Gosh, that's not it either." "I'll marry you, immediately if you want." The man blurted out his sentence like he hadn't thought about it. Vanilla blinked her eyes. "That's not what I meant either," she said sounding annoyed. This wasn't right, this experimental relationship probably wouldn't work. An attempted relationship was scary enough, let alone an attempted marriage, it was even scarier. Vanilla did not want to experience domestic failure, she wanted to be like her mother who got married only once in her life. "We don't know if we don't try. But, I'm sure, you're right for me. We are very compatible." "We're just getting to know each other," Vanilla moaned. Nick silently growled in his heart, he had never been rejected by any girl. In fact, he was the most pursued guy in town even though he wasn't an actor, singer, or celebrity. But, how dare Vanilla reject him. "Tell me clearly, Vanilla." She was starting to lose her patience. "I-I... I need time. I'll answer tomorrow after watching the horse race," Vanilla said as they had agreed yesterday. "You should have waited patiently until tomorrow." However, the fact was that Nick could not wait. He had even come to her house on the pretext of breakfast when they had not been separated for twelve hours. Nick placed one palm on Vanilla's head, stroking the girl's hair lovingly. "But, in our agreement there is no prohibition on me missing you, no prohibition on me seeing you." Vanilla pursed her lips. "You, no temper!" Nick smiled, he grabbed Vanilla's chin, one hand wrapped around her waist, closing the distance between them, he brought his lips to hers. "I know the flutter in your chest, Vanilla. You want me as much as I want you." Vanilla opened her lips, about to respond to Nick's words but he was already crushing her lips. Teasing him until there was no way for Vanilla to run, he accepted Nick's kiss, letting the man's warm tongue invade her mouth and caress her tongue. She loved Nick's kiss, she loved sharing the same breath with him. He wanted Nick to be his but he was afraid that one day the man would get bored and throw him away. Bad thoughts haunted him, not to mention he felt that he was not as beautiful as the other girls who had been in Nick's life. "Damn it," Nick growled. "I want you so much, Vanilla." Vanilla gasped, her eyes misty with passion as she stared at Nick. Just like Nick, she wanted him as much as he wanted her. Nick took a deep breath, regulating his crazy heartbeat, and also his passion that was crazier than his heartbeat. If the girl in front of him wasn't Vanilla, Nick vowed to drag her to his house, strip her naked and enjoy every inch of her body. Unfortunately, Nick was sure that if he rushed Vanilla would be terrified. "Damn it. Vanilla, I want to fuck you," Nick growled hoarsely. "Wh-what?" she didn't hear Nick clearly because Nick's growl seemed to be stuck in the man's throat. "I'll wait for you," Nick said seriously. "Until tomorrow." Vanilla blinked her eyes, she still felt that her relationship with Nick was progressing too fast, she also felt that she didn't deserve to be with him. The feeling of indecision was getting to her. "After you accept me, I'll take you up to my bed," Nick said. The man intended to land his kiss on the back of Vanilla's palm. However, Vanilla quickly withdrew her palm that was in Nick's power. "So, you just want to fuck me?"Chapter 14An Idol"Don't say you needed a fuck this morning, Nick." Charlotte who was standing behind Nick kissed the lips of Nick who was sitting leaning his head on the back of the sofa.Charlotte, she was Nick's best friend since childhood. Just like Beck and Vanilla. However, their relationship was more casual, Nick sought out Charlotte when he needed an outlet for his urges. Likewise Charlotte, she doesn't mind how Nick treats her. They were both free, Nick was free to date other girls and Charlotte was free to date other guys."No, I just need you to listen to my problems," Nick said. "Damn it, I just got rejected by a girl."Charlotte sat next to Nick. The woman's brows were deeply furrowed, almost touching. "What did you say?"Nick sighed. "Besides luxury items, what do girls usually like?""Handsome men," Charlotte replied quickly and then laughed amusedly."Oh my God, I'm serious."Charlotte played with Nick's curls using her fingertips. "I'm also serious, besides luxury it

Chapter 12Wild KissingInside the glass building, Vanilla squealed, her body shaking violently, and could barely breathe properly. Her thighs were wrapped around Nick's waist, her arms were wrapped around his neck while her face was in the crook of his neck. In all his life that he could remember, he had only ever seen tigers on television. Maybe he'd seen one at the zoo when he was a kid, but he didn't remember it. The cats Nick was referring to were five huge tigers, huge like a cow only not as tall as a cow. There were three yellow tigers and two white tigers. The tigers welcomed Nick and Vanilla by sniffing Nick and Vanilla's bodies alternately and then rubbing their heads against Nick's legs pamperingly. Vanilla was so scared, she felt like she was a hunk of meat going into a mill. She wanted to cry and run away from that place. However, it was obviously impossible because she couldn't even stand on her own two feet. "Nick... it's not a cat," she whined in a trembling voice.
Chapter 11 In My Arms The atmosphere seemed quiet, only the sound of paper being seldom flipped broke the silence. "Mom, come on... help me." Sophie whined to the woman in front of her who was reading a tabloid. "I've told you since long ago that Beck is not good for you, I have repeatedly introduced you to the son of my clients who are much richer. But, you are blinded by love.""You introduced me to an old man," Sophie grumbled. "Just a few years older, it doesn't matter. What matters is that they have a lot of money." Nena did not shift her focus at all from the tabloid in her hand. "Now you are unemployed, your credit card was also taken by Beck.""Lucy took it, not Beck," Sophie corrected."Whoever it is, it makes no difference because it means you are now completely useless," Nena said, indifferently. "In this city there are many men who are richer and more handsome than your lover." "But, only Beck spoils me. Other men only want my body."Nena closed the tabloid in her ha
Chapter 10Too Close Vanilla cried in Nick's arms, pouring out all the pain Beck had given her. Beck had just accused her of wanting to separate him from Sophie, even arrogantly Beck said to finish their engagement. "You think you'll be able to take me away from Sophie by taking her position in the company?" Beck sarcastically threw his taunts at Vanilla. Vanilla, who at that time still didn't understand where Beck's conversation was going, could only listen to Beck's words that continued to corner her. "Don't think too highly of yourself just because my parents love you, Vanilla. You can persuade my mother to fire Sophie from the company. But, that won't be able to separate our love," Beck said arrogantly. Vanilla felt her chest start to tighten, she understood why Beck was so angry with her even though she only guessed that Lucy did something to Sophie. Beck always rejected her, Vanilla couldn't deny that she felt hurt by Beck's rejection. However, being accused of something sh
Chapter 9 Trick "Mom, you can't act arbitrarily like that." Beck immediately protested. Lucy smiled in a very arrogant way. "What can't I do? This company is mine." Beck snorted, he was at a loss for words because the fact was that the company belonged to his mother. "Honey, wait outside," Beck said to Sophie. Sophie nodded weakly and with her face down left the room accompanied by a cynical look from Lucy. "Starting Monday, Vanilla will be your secretary," Lucy said, sounding cold, but firm.Beck was surprised to hear his mother's words. "Mom, don't joke." The man furrowed his eyebrows until they almost met. "Vanilla is your fiancée, wouldn't it be nice if you were together all day?" Lucy approached her son and patted Beck's shoulder, gently and lovingly. "Mom...." "What's so hard about accepting your arranged marriage? Besides, you've known each other since childhood.""I don't love Vanilla, Mom. I only consider her a sister." Beck leaned his back on the back of the chair.
