Chapter 12

Wild Kissing

Inside the glass building, Vanilla squealed, her body shaking violently, and could barely breathe properly. Her thighs were wrapped around Nick's waist, her arms were wrapped around his neck while her face was in the crook of his neck. In all his life that he could remember, he had only ever seen tigers on television. Maybe he'd seen one at the zoo when he was a kid, but he didn't remember it.

The cats Nick was referring to were five huge tigers, huge like a cow only not as tall as a cow. There were three yellow tigers and two white tigers. The tigers welcomed Nick and Vanilla by sniffing Nick and Vanilla's bodies alternately and then rubbing their heads against Nick's legs pamperingly.

Vanilla was so scared, she felt like she was a hunk of meat going into a mill. She wanted to cry and run away from that place. However, it was obviously impossible because she couldn't even stand on her own two feet.

"Nick... it's not a cat," she whined in a trembling voice.

Nick laughed, he held Vanilla's body even tighter, the man landed another small peck on Vanilla's shoulder. The corner of his lips smiled triumphantly.

"They're so cute," Nick said.

The man bent his legs, resting his knees on the floor to align himself with the tigers surrounding him as if they were the king and queen of the jungle.

"They won't eat you." Nick petted one of the white tigers.

Vanilla timidly peeked out from behind Nick's chest. The first sight she saw was a white tiger sitting next to Nick, the tiger blinked at her making Vanilla hide her face in Nick's chest again.

Nick chuckled, Vanilla who he thought was adorable. "You can touch him."

"No way!" said Vanilla quickly.

"They're well-fed, there's no way they'd eat you," Nick said.

"Oh my God. Nick, they're beasts."

Nick chuckled. The tigers were Bengal tigers that he had bought from Africa when they were three months old. They were tame because their mothers were also not wild tigers living in the jungle, in other words, they were completely used to living with humans. The only thing Vanilla should have to worry about is another wild animal holding her in an unsafe position. The most intimate position that could lead to misunderstandings.

"They're tame and they... like you," Nick said, his tone softly reassuring.

"How do you know that? They don't talk," Vanilla grumbled.

"They like what I like."

Liking what I like... what did Nick just say mean?

Vanilla's cheeks heated up at Nick's words and even her heart seemed to be pounding in her chest cavity, beating irregularly and her body cells screaming with excitement. However, Vanilla quickly dismissed those feelings of joy. Nick was a rich, established, and handsome man. He had everything, had many women in his life. He must be intent on taking advantage of her broken heart, playing her and then leaving her.

"I want to go back to my home," Vanilla murmured.

She wanted to escape from a situation that she found difficult even though she was not willing to stay away from the arms of a man with a floral scent of woody and balsamic.

"Alright," Nick said. From the tone of his voice the man sounded disappointed that Vanilla didn't like his pet.

When Nick intended to rise from his seat, a sense of discomfort ran through Vanilla.

"But, I-I want to touch them before I go back," Vanilla half groaned. Forcing herself not to disappoint Nick who had invited her to see his pet tiger.

Nick discouraged her. "Good idea," he said. "Give me your hand."

Even though still feeling very scared Vanilla let go of one arm around Nick's neck to touch one of the tigers, her hand shaking.

"You're really scared." Nick felt Vanilla's trembling hand and felt cold. "Don't push yourself."

"I'm brave," Vanilla said quickly in a firm tone. "I'm serious, I'm brave."

Nick chuckled. "Alright, you're brave. But, can you move a little?"

Their position made it difficult for Nick to guide Vanilla's hand to touch one of the tigers.

Vanilla moved her face away from Nick's chest. She looked up and found Nick's face very close to hers, their eyes locked. They stared at each other as if two people longing for each other, neither of them trying to avert their gaze.

"Nick...." Vanilla murmured, but it was more like a groan.

The girl's lips parted as if she was waiting for Nick to immediately fondle the beautiful lips in front of her. However, Nick did not do so even though he himself felt impatient to suck on Vanilla's lips. He pushed aside a pinch of hair that fell on Vanilla's face, his eyes locked on hers.

"I want to kiss you, Vanilla," Nick said slowly. Slow, but firm.

Vanilla was willing, for God's sake she was willing to be kissed by Nick even if Nick didn't ask permission first. But she was silent, not reacting. She couldn't just nod, she was afraid Nick would think of her as a cheap girl or maybe a broken-hearted girl who would easily throw herself at another man.

"Be mine...."

For the second time, Vanilla was stunned by what Nick said. The man she had idolized since high school said he wanted to kiss her and then possess her. But what did he mean? Own her? Being his girlfriend or what? Vanilla didn't understand, she needed a definite explanation because in her entire life she had never had a boyfriend, never dated anyone, and never had a man declare love to her.

Vanilla blinked her eyes, the girl's lips trembling. "Wh-what... do you mean?"

Nick brought his lips closer, so close that they almost touched. "Be my lover."

At the same time Vanilla's lips were on Nick's, her first kiss had been taken by the man she idolized. Her body tensed, all her nerves seemed to scream in joy. However, she did not know what to do.

Nick licked Vanilla's lips which didn't react even though the girl put her arms around Nick's neck again. Nick pushed his tongue into Vanilla's oral cavity, caressing Vanilla's soft and warm tongue. The man's lips twitched slightly, smiling behind his kiss. From Vanilla's stiff and awkward demeanor, he was sure that the girl had never kissed.

Beck, thank you.

Slowly Vanilla testified, returning the caress of Nick's tongue that sent electric shocks through her body, the scent of the man's breath wafting into her sense of smell, overwhelming all her thoughts that had begun to empty filled with Nick's distinctive scent that she had begun to memorize since their few days together.

He should not have kissed Nick back so quickly. But, their kiss had happened.

Vanilla felt her breasts ache, harden, and her womanhood twitch from Nick's kiss.

This is wrong. But, I don't want to stop.

Vanilla moaned as her chest pressed closer to Nick's body, her fingers running through Nick's curls. Their kiss grew deeper and more passionate, as if they needed each other and didn't want it to end.

As soon as Vanilla realized she moved her palms on Nick's chest, instead of wanting to push the man's chest away she squeezed the clothes Nick was wearing. He groaned as Nick pulled on his tongue until it felt like his whole body was completely lifted and then almost blown into the sky.

"Vanilla, be my lover." Nick growled against Vanilla's lips.

Vanilla had forgotten her sadness because of Beck, it felt so happy to hear that the man she idolized wanted her and asked to be her lover. However, before Vanilla could answer and inhale more Nick had kissed her again. This time deeper, more passionate, and demanding.

Nick leaned Vanilla's body over a tiger curled up right in front of them, fondling the girl greedily like a hungry tiger. Vanilla did not resist, she was no longer frightened, her passion for Nick had drowned out her fear. She responded to Nick's lips crawling on top of her.

"I'm not sure, you might be in danger if you stay here too long," Nick growled as their lips parted.

Their eyes locked again, while Nick's thumb rubbed the tip of Vanilla's lips that were wet from the rest of their kiss.

Vanilla was still catching her breath as well as her frantic heartbeat. She bit her lip, her face already flushed up to her neck. "Nick... we shouldn't."

"Shh!" Nick placed his index finger in front of Vanilla's lips. "This is the right one, this is the one."

"But, I...." Vanilla looked at Nick with an uncertain feeling.

She had just been dumped by Beck. No, she was never considered by Beck. But, if she decided to be with Nick now was her decision not too hasty?

"I've told you since long ago that Beck is not good for you, I have repeatedly introduced you to the son of my clients who are much richer. But, you are blinded by love.""You introduced me to an old man," Sophie grumbled. "Just a few years older, it doesn't matter. What matters is that they have a lot of money." Nena did not shift her focus at all from the tabloid in her hand. "Now you are unemployed, your credit card was also taken by Beck.""Lucy took it, not Beck," Sophie corrected."Whoever it is, it makes no difference because it means you are now completely useless," Nena said, indifferently. "In this city there are many men who are richer and more handsome than your lover." "But, only Beck spoils me. Other men only want my body."Nena closed the tabloid in her ha

Beck had just accused her of wanting to separate him from Sophie, even arrogantly Beck said to finish their engagement. "You think you'll be able to take me away from Sophie by taking her position in the company?" Beck sarcastically threw his taunts at Vanilla. Vanilla, who at that time still didn't understand where Beck's conversation was going, could only listen to Beck's words that continued to corner her. "Don't think too highly of yourself just because my parents love you, Vanilla. You can persuade my mother to fire Sophie from the company. But, that won't be able to separate our love," Beck said arrogantly. Vanilla felt her chest start to tighten, she understood why Beck was so angry with her even though she only guessed that Lucy did something to Sophie. Beck always rejected her, Vanilla couldn't deny that she felt hurt by Beck's rejection. However, being accused of something sh

Sophie nodded weakly and with her face down left the room accompanied by a cynical look from Lucy. "Starting Monday, Vanilla will be your secretary," Lucy said, sounding cold, but firm.Beck was surprised to hear his mother's words. "Mom, don't joke." The man furrowed his eyebrows until they almost met. "Vanilla is your fiancée, wouldn't it be nice if you were together all day?" Lucy approached her son and patted Beck's shoulder, gently and lovingly. "Mom...." "What's so hard about accepting your arranged marriage? Besides, you've known each other since childhood.""I don't love Vanilla, Mom. I only consider her a sister." Beck leaned his back on the back of the chair.
