Chapter 29: The Biennial Event

“How was the renovation?” The Alpha asked as he took a bite of his dinner. 

Raven raised up her head and smiled at the Alpha when he had asked her a question. 

“It’s going well. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it,” Raven muttered truthfully with a genuine smile as she lowered her head back to her plate. 

Luna Savina was delighted by her response. “Raven is adjusting very quickly. If you were with us yesterday, you would see what I was talking about. It’s really like she was born for this,” Luna Savina added in praise causing a blush to creep up Raven’s cheek. 

Raven just left the courtyard and her body was so tired that she was ready to jump on her bed and sleep like a rock. However, she almost forgot that she still had to join the Alpha and Luna at dinner.
