"Psst!" Scheriziel poked her husband's cheek, trying to wake him up.

"Hmm...? Yes, my love?" Viishaun replied in a hoarse voice as he gently rubbed his eyes.

"I want radish," she replied.

"Again?"

The empress nodded and looked at her husband, wearing puppy eyes. "Pretty please," she added.

"Since your morning sickness stopped, you've been eating radish for two months, wife." Viishaun sighed and added, "Alright."

"The maids are probably asleep. I'll bring preserved radish for my lovely wife and baby. Wait for me. I'll be back," he kissed the slight bump on the empress' belly.

"Vinny, stay here and watch over that precious lady there," he said and patted a white fur lying next to the door.

"Arf~Arf~"

Shortly after, he returned to their bed-chamber, holding a tray of radish and warm water for his wife. He placed the tray on their bedside and helped her ladyship sit. And, to make it comfortable for the empress to sit straight, he put a pillow on the back.
