ANDREA.
I remained quiet in the backseat of the car that Beta Dominic was driving. He asked me if I wanted to sit beside him at the front passenger seat, but I didn't want to converse with him, so I declined politely and told him I wanted to sleep.
He didn't talk for most of the ride, but he did tell me that he was thankful I insisted on taking him along.
It turned out he was eyeing Alpha Jacob's sister, Janna. The same female I saw holding on to Caspian during Alia's union. The one I thought he was dating at that time.
But I didn't tell him that. Less talk, less mistakes. I knew Riley was aware of my feelings for Caspian, but I wasn't sure if Beta Dominic knew. All he knew was that I was not allowed to meet Caspian.
