“No, you can’t. It was organized in your honor. It would be really disrespectful to the king if you do that” Otis explained calmly why I can’t ditched my own party and I gave a small nod in understanding.

I was quiet for a moment trying to imagine how it would look like wondering if I can invite Agnes as well.

“I’m afraid not. I don’t think the king would appreciate another human aside from you in his party unless she is going to be there as a servant” He answered truthfully, damping my mood even further.

It’s hard to think I would be going to a party in which I can’t even invite my friend or have another familiar face other than the Prince to speak with. I can already tell how boring it’s going to be.
