Vena Locks

It was extremely hot outside as the sun was at its highest peak up in the sky while the prince and I wait patiently by the front porch for his guest to arrive.

It wasn’t long before the carriage carrying Vena rolled over and stopped before the Prince and I at the entrance and I literally braced myself with my fingers still intertwined with the prince’s. Another minute went by before a tall slim woman with beautiful tan skin came down from the carriage.

A huge smile broke out on her face the moment her gaze fell on the Prince as she came running towards him with open arms while him on the other hand stood just as rigid by my side still. she came to a pause before us before her brown hazel eyes dart back to look at me momentarily, her earlier smile quickly morphing into a weak frown.

She arched a brow at me, “Who are you?”

Before I could answer, the prince beat me to it. “She is Iris, my girlfriend, and you are the King’s guest, so I expect you to behave as such”

Her frown dropped at hi
