Wanted Baby

Chapter 2: Wanted Baby

The giggles of the baby tickled my ears, and I knew for sure that I already found what I have been missing. Ladies at my age had been marrying and creating a family of their own. While I was left single and lonely. I turned my heel with ideas in my head.

‘I want a child,’ but then meters away for me, I saw a bloody red eye itching dress from my left who just arrived. She has dressed all red with dark make-up. Hella?

“Arvin! Talk to me!” She shouted and every head around turned to her. She stormed to a guy with a pregnant lady sitting on a picnic mat. The guy was a bit old and pale. He was thin too and not in a good shape. He indeed needs a successor.

“Hella, I have made things clear.” His voice wasn’t sound sexy as I was expecting which made my friend obsessed with him that bad.

“We were together for five fucking years! And you choose this fat lady over me? How can you choose a two months relationship over five years with me?”

And parents around went covering their ears of their children. Some pulled them to play kites and others fixed their things and find another place to relax.

“Don’t do this here, Hella, please. Everything is over, long over. I have a family now.” I watched my friend harshly shake her head and close their distance. She held his hand and kneel on the ground.

“Please, Arvin. I can give you a child now. I am ready to have a child now. Please, come back. Come back to me, please, please come home.” I saw him trying to push her away. She raised her hand and was about to snap her finger.

“Hella!” I stepped in before she could do anything stupid. She wasn’t in her right mind to do things involving magic in front of these humans.

“Zilla, help me. Tell him I am more worthy than this fat lady. The lady was starting to cry so I pulled her up.

“I’m sorry for my friend's behavior.” I give him a slight bow and pulled her to my car.

“What are you doing? I should go back, I’m letting him have his happy ending while I am miserable!” She was a freak, too bad for that Arvin, he’d never get away from her.

“You’re doing it the wrong way, why would you kneel to a man who wasn’t worth it, and importantly a human!” I drove away and brought her to my house.

“I know what I am doing. I want him back and I’ll do anything to have him back. Let’s kill his girl.” I suddenly hit the brake and she was thrown forward and then kissed the windshield.

I drove again so she could sit back, “Fasten your seat belt! I never thought you would go that low.”

“Awh! You will never understand because you don’t have a heart, you never love as I do. And you cut my upper lip! By.The.Way!” I drove faster to get home soon as possible. This bitch wanted to explode in anger.

“I will kneel to a man as you did.”

“You will, believe me, you will. And when you already do, I will surely be there to remind you what you have said.” Soon as I stopped the car, she went down, and the poor tree flare up. My door flew out of the gate.

“She should fix that.” She was mad, madly in love with an unworthy man. I thought this was like the other relationship she had.

She needed to be alone so I let her. She’d come to me if she’d be ready to talk. I climbed to my office here in my house and opened my laptop. I started searching for how to file for adoption and find a good orphanage. There would be a lot of children, what should I get? A girl or a boy?

“What is that?” My breath hitched when I heard her from my back, I closed my eyes and touched my chest, and blew some air.

“What the hell!” But instead of saying sorry she pulled my laptop and read it.

“I need a child,” I said and took the laptop away from her.

“From an orphanage?” I looked at her in confusion.

“So?” I couldn’t get her point.

“That doesn’t sound like you, a little child that has the same face and attitude as you would be better than those children. And how will you explain your magic to a human?” She got the point but she was missing something here.

“You know I can’t bore a child, my mother cursed me remember?”

“Do you remember the exact words she spoke?”

‘I regret giving you life! No witch will come out from your womb alive!’

“No witch will come out from your womb alive, but a half-human can.” She said as the realization hit me.

“That’s very brilliant of you, Hell.” She flipped her hair and smiled. But the hint of sadness never fails to ditch her eyes.

“And you can kill him after.”

“Yeah.”

“NO! I was just joking,” she exclaimed but my head was starting to create a plan.

“Will I just abduct a man?” I saw her snap from her thoughts and looked at me with disgust.

“Ridiculous! You were given that beauty not to rape a man. You can even get five at once, I got you. Tonight, we’ll find you a baby maker.” I was suspicious of her plans but I remembered her taking guys home.

“Oh, shoot!” Making a baby, did she mean this involves intercourse thing?

“Why?” asked her.

“In making a baby…”

“Tell me you’ve experienced those.” I started shaking my head and she widen her eyes, soon she started laughing and felt wanted to bury myself alive.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA! You what? How, HAHAHAHA how old are you again?” I hate the fact that I feel less than her now.

“Nothing’s funny.”

“Oh my god, AHAHA.” She was wiping her tears of laugh too hard. “You’ll be turning thirty this year right?”

“I am not ignorant, I know that.”

“But you never experienced it, I always thought that I was cleaner than you are but it turned out that you are more innocent than I am.”

“And it’s funny?”

“It’s amusing!” Her tone was irritating me.

“Are you going to help me or not?” She was still trying to recover from her laughter and catching her breath.

“Why on earth do you want a child, by the way?”

“I just want to, back off.”

“Alright, alright, listen up.” She started telling me how to do it. My mouth fell open and cringed my forehead.

“Disgusting!” She started laughing again but I glared at her so a wicked smile crept on her lips.

“It’s fun, you sound like a teenager, well, you look young so that won’t be bad. They are understanding, they’ll guide you on what to do just let them.” I couldn’t imagine what it would be like.

“I’m telling you, Hell, I am not joking here.”

“Leave it to me.” She even winked at me and excitedly stood up. She left me with a video of what would it be like but I was feeling awkward watching it so I closed my laptop and make myself a coffee.

“Do I really want a child?”
