Twenty Three: Threats

Lance’s POV

In my hand was a file and also a letter sent by the Alpha of Shadow Pack. He wants me, I mean the pack house to help them out with foodstuff and some of my guards after their pack was destroyed.

Unlike here, their pack was attacked by an insider, someone no one would ever think would do something like that. The beta betrayed the Alpha and not only the Alpha, but the entire pack. What a shame. “So what is the best suggestion here?” I asked Henry, my beta.

Beta Henry had returned from his travel in search of his mother immediately he got the message that the pack was attacked. Someone would have stayed back, seeing that I am capable enough to get the culprit but Henry, well, he said it was better that he comes back and we take care of it altogether.

“Giving them a few guards won’t hurt and besides we have a lot of food stock from last year. No, we have a lot to keep us for more than three years. So it will be okay if we help them.” He suggested.
