Dear Diary,

Rosario's POV

"Dear Diary,

It was finally school resumption day!

Not that it's something to be happy about though, but i was finally in grade 11.

Just two more years, and I’ll be in college, living alone.

I mean, I told mom i didn't wanna go to the same school as Kelvin anymore. I thought she was seeing reasons with me, but here i was again.

My gosh i'm never getting tired of saying Kelvin is such an ass!

Just a reminder in my every diary before you. Ivy.

And I finally know how lazy he could be. By yesterday, he hadn't even washed his uniforms for today.

Who the fuck even does that? Jeez!

He is such a flirt, how can he remember such things?

The only achievement he has ever made is probably owning a dance crew that earns him cash.

if only mom and dad knew. Or maybe mum is just ignoring him. There are never there for us anyway.

Could you imagine when mom got Kelvin a car during the holidays, he never let me get in!

dude told me i was jealous.

Mmn! I still don't get him though.

what would i be jealous of? Is it the part of him being 19 and not yet done with high school or what else!?

Oh please! i'm just 17! I still have time.

Okay fine! I'm just not happy about it. I mean I should ride in his car. I'm his sister.

Anyway, I made a new friend today.

She used to be in grade 10 but a different room from mine then. Though we made a few clashes in the past.

her name is Trish.

Remember when i said sometimes when people call my name a lot, they'll start calling me something else.

well she did. My name never ended on her lips as she is so talkative.

Oops.

"Rosa look at this! Rosia not that one!" She's so I don’t know... hot, wild. kinda.

When she found out kelvin was my brother when he winked at me at the cafeteria, she told me about her having a long long crush on him.

She kept asking me to write a secret admirer love letter for her, which she would put in his locker.

Okay I must mention, her hand writing is hideous.

I helped her though after much warning about getting herself mixed with kelvin.

*

During third recess, we sneaked to the hockey players locker room while but she waited for me at the back.

there were about 4 lockers with the name tag kelvin.

Yeah, I can’t even distinguish my brother's locker from the rest Kelvins. I couldn’t be more glad anyway.

After that plan failed, she later came up with a better idea. Did I say better?

Worse actually.

I could just slip the love letter in his school note later when i get home.

But I told her, he'd think it's his class mate's doing, they would be no possibility of him thinking someone outside his class would have access to his note which wouldn’t be good for her.

Besides I’m not a bridge of love for anyone... especially not that Kelvin.

So I refused.”

I placed the pen between the pages of my diary and closed it.

That was all about school for today. Seems I’m having a little “interesting” in my life again.

*One week later*

“where the hell are you Olivia, i swear to god...”

“wait! I think I’ve seen you.” Her little voice from the phone... annoying.

“you better.” I ended the call angrily and looked around but didn’t see her.

God! She is so annoying and I just don’t know.

I found a seat nearby. An empty swing actually, and I walked there to seat.

I hate this amusement park!

*

Soon I heard her frail voice from behind yell my name.

“Rosario! Rosario! That is my sister!”

Oh God! She is totally doing this on purpose isn’t she?

She knows how much I hate my name being yelled in public, but she still did it anyway.

I came down from the swing and turned back. She was running over with two other blondes, her friends I guess.

All with ice creams in hand.

“that is my sister!” she yelled telling her friends.

How could mum do this to me?

I mean, coming back from school, I deserve rest.

Not babysitting a 12 year old with some friends in a stupid amusement park I knew nothing of how they got there.

But here I was, still on my uniform, inescapably going to baby sit 3 girls.

I sighed tiredly wishing the day be over quickly.

*

It was 7pm and we were finally returning home. We missed the bus so we were looking for a cab.

You know one thing I hate about Olivia, she is so clingy and she clumsy about it too. Always stepping on my foot in an attempt to hold my hand.

And that is a 12 year old for God sake.

Manny’s POV

“Dash I can’t. I still have to go back to college it's been a while.”

He scoffed.

“Great, I’m just gonna have to deduct from your salary.” He looked out the window of the car as I drove.

I chuckled staring at him and then back at the road.

“You always do that thing. Wave your boss card around.

But deep down you are jealous of me being in college. Not just that, almost done.” I said mockingly. I know he raised a brow to that.

I mean he should just go to college too, and not take it out on me.

Oops! He can’t!

You know when someone get strictly deprived of something they want, they tend to speak against it.

That's exactly what he was doing.

He is just hurt that he is gonna be taking over his family business.

So no dreams for him.

“but for real...” I stared at him. “you are not touching my goddamn money.” I said.

“is that a plea?” he stared at me and I stared back at him.

“no... I’m telling you.” I said. He smirked looking away.

I faced back the road too turning the car steering to the left.

Behold, two figures were in front of me as i turned. Shit! Didn’t horn, my bad!

The shorter one jumped out of the way leaving the other one.

“shit!”

I stepped on the brakes at once but still collided with the girl.
