I woke up startled, my stomach growling terribly as my head focused only on one thing, one goal. I felt the water in my mouth as I pulled myself up and sat down, bringing a hand to my swollen belly and feeling my baby approve.

I cleared my throat, trying to get Liam’s attention, sleeping happily next to me. But Liam slept peacefully, with his mouth open while soft noises came out of his lips.

I flicked my foot, and he opened his eyes.

"What is it? Who is?" he said sleepily.

He pulled himself up and looked at me, eyes still completely asleep as he tried to figure out what I was still doing standing.

"Liam," I said with a sigh, and then tears came to my eyes as I started sobbing desperately, "I’m hungry," I said, crying.

"I’ll get you something," Liam said, "What do you want?" then asked, rubbing his sleepy eyes.
