Shattered

"Alpha in the hall!" The young woman announced in a panic as Zade strode past, ignoring the half-naked females scrambling to get to their rooms. He had an army to assemble, and a mate to retrieve. Even unconscious April still seemed to thwart him, and what the hell was that beast doing, kidnapping her like that? Surely the dragon didn't think April was still his mate? The door to his study was open, and he spared a quick glance at the adjoining room next to it, hopefully, Todd had managed to make it out alive. He was a casualty of the unprovoked attack, unfortunately. But Zade felt sure that if he was still alive he would be protecting April and making sure they survived until the pack warriors could come and rescue them.
