Her siblings clearly had other ideas though because Nick was already dragging her back into the kitchen to finish eating.
“I can’t believe you didn’t tell us how hot our brother-in-law is in reality!” Nick’s voice was higher than usual but Viana was nodding along with what he was saying like it was totally normal.
“I told you I like him,” Vanessa hedged.
She really didn’t feel like talking about this now, she wanted to mope around instead.
