"No, I can't trust you, nor your selfish dad, I knew you are doing all this for me to leave Laura, and that's never gonna happen." Axel spat.

"Will you stop this already? Stop acting like she is somehow better than me, look at my face, I'm prettier and I got the nicest curves in this whole pack, she is no one, no one but a low life, while I'm the beta's daughter." Cora half yelled.

"I don't care about her position, I loved her for who she is and not for what she has, you may think your father snatched everything from her, but in my eyes, and in my heart, she will forever remain an Alpha, the greatest Alpha I ever know." Axel said.

"Well then, keep on watching, I can't wait for the day, your precious Laura will marry the new Alpha in front of your eyes and there is nothing you can do, do you even think Laura will ever settle for a warrior like you when she has an Alpha who is willing to give her respect back to her, in the face of the society, while all you can do is to look at her eyes and make her believe she is the Alpha of your heart, how pathetic." Cora exclaimed with an evil smirk, seeing his facial reaction to her last words.

He was speechless.

"What if she is right, Alpha Jacob is willing to return her respect to her, but he can't do anything, maybe Cora was right." He thought without blinking his eyes, he felt his heart heavy with fear of Cora's words to be true, he is restless, everything do make sense to him.

Cora saw Laura walking towards her door, she smiled evilly.

"This is the right time to end everything."

Cora thought and waited for Laura to come closer, as she did, she dragged Axel and forced her lips on him kissing him.

Laura was wondering where Axel is, she set to search for him but instead she saw Cora's door open.

"Maybe I should go speak to her, I'm sure she still can't face me because of her father, maybe I should let her know that our friendship remain the same, she will forever be my best friend." Laura thought and started walking towards Cora's room.

She saw Cora with someone talking and eventually kissing, she smiled.

"Maybe she finally got gotten her own prince charming, I will go see." She said to herself with a smile.

She reached there and what she saw left her mouth open, she was shocked beyond measure, speechless and broken, only tears could be seen falling from her eyes.

"Axel, Cora!" She yelled and Axel quickly pushed him, Cora run to Laura.

"Thank God you are here, he was planning to rape me, and he was trying to cheat on you all this while with me, I can't believe it." Cora said shedding tears.

"No, no, listen to me Laura, she planned everything, she was the one following me all this while, believe me, I can't think of doing that, you are the one I love." Axel said at once.

"He is lying Laura, you are my friend, we grew up together, why will I ever do that to you, I will never want to see your tears, I was in my room all days because you get dethroned and I can't face you because my dad was the reason for it, Axel was here every day begging me to love him as he was just using you, I begged him to leave me alone, and he was forcing himself on me, that's when you came, I won't have known what will happen to me, who will you trust Laura, I your best friend since childhood who Axel, whom you barley even know?" Cora narrated crying really hard.

Laura was confused on who to believe, Cora will never lie to her, she will never betray her trust, and Axel is the stranger here.

"Laura, please...." He paused as Laura slapped him, Cora Smirked.

"How could you do that to my friend Axel, I had love you all my life, with my body and soul, I thought you were the guy for me, I can't believe this, I can't believe everything, why Axel!" Laura yelled crying her eyes out.

Not knowing what to say, Axel just walked out of the room.

Laura slummed on the floor crying really hard, the pains in her heart become fresh and all she can think about is been betrayed by the person she thought he was meant for her, all she thinks about was giving her body to her.

"Why Axel, why!" She asked no one.

"I'm sorry Laura, I feel really bad, I can't believe all this happened, I felt so ashamed of myself, I can't bear to see you in pains, I can't bear to be the reason for your pains, I will just kill myself, my father has caused you more than enough pains by taking away your birthright and how Axel, I don't deserve to live." Cora ranted pretending to be in so much pains.

She stood up and carried a knife.

"I hope we meet in the hereafter Laura, I love you." Cora said and closed her eyes trying to stab herself.

Laura snatched it and hugged her.

"You haven't done anything to me Cora, I should be the one to apologies, because you almost got raped because of my jerk of a boyfriend, it's not your fault, you should forget about everything, and I also will forget about Axel, we will remain best friends forever." Laura said still hugging her tabbing her back gently.

Cora wiped her fake tears and smiled.

"Oh poor Laura, you really don't deserve to be the Alpha of this great pack, dad was right, since you can't comprehend between the honest guy and the fake friend, now that you hate Axel, I will have him to myself, only if you knew how much I hate you in my heart, you will have been thousand kilometers away from me." Cora thought.
