Chapter 29: In-denial

Focus. Focus. Focus.

The word repeated in her mind. Sitting in a class without knowing what was going on, even though the girl attended the whole week, was damn hard. Being clueless about the subject's topic that was discussed in your presence but still not getting them was one thing, taking a test was even a bigger challenge.

This was one of the rare moments when Eleonna regretted not actively listening or paying attention to the class. She thought she could have easily aced this one. Guess regrets really do come after deeds.

The girl let out a frustrated sigh and leaned on her chair.

"I shouldn't have doze off during discussions..." she murmured to herself.

She stared at her empty answer sheets beside the testpapers hopelessly. There were multiple choices in it, identification, and essay. She could answer the essays, it was somehow the easiest part for her, not until it she read the direction telling her to say something about what seemed to be a complicated topic.
