Chapter 18

Lucy

I spent the night at Cardin's place, not because I wanted to, but because he refused to drive me home neither did he allow me to get a cab. I didn't want to argue with him knowing the situation of things with Baron and his sister. Whining that he takes me home will be a bitchy move on my part and that's the last thing I want to be. A bitch.

Rolling to the other side, I discovered that I slept in his room. With the way this side of the bed lacks any warmth, it proved that I spent the night here alone. Checking the time, I realized that it's past nine in the morning. I stretched my lazy bones as I got off the bed. I took a shower using Cardin's body wash and an extra toothbrush for my teeth. Picking my clothes from yesterday's party, I wore it despite the fact that it is very long and uncomfortable to walk in.

I walked downstairs and found Cardin in the living room looking all fresh and showered.

"Good morning Lucy, how was your night?" He questioned without even raising his head
