“I can see it.”
She glanced at Sandhya and said to Selly, “What do you want to confirm?”
“President we found that the brooch worn by Miss Sandhya has a green star in it. Does it confirm that she is a candidate for the 12th seat?”
Serena narrowed her eyes and answered, “I see what you want to ask. Yes, she is. I can’t tell the reason as it’s classified information.”
Her eyes fell on the girl named Ellaine and she continued, “I assure you that there’s no unfairness or being biased. If you have confidence in yourself then this little matter shouldn’t affect anyone.”
She stopped and tried to gauge every student's reaction through the screen.
“Teacher Selly after school come and meet me in my office.”
“Yes, president.”
And the call ended.
The whole class submerged into silence. Even though they found it unbelievable, they have no right to object to something decided by the headmistress of the academy

Miss Selly entered to take class. She glanced towards Kane’s desk to see if Sandhya is still sitting there. Her eyes widened for a second and turned into a subtle smile. “So, where were we last time? ...” During the lunch break, more students were present in the classroom than the day before. Sandhya guessed they must be waiting to see if Luisa and Felicita will do something for yesterday’s humiliation. Instead, something else happened which startled them. A girl wearing senior’s uniform entered the classroom seemingly searching for someone. When her eyes landed on Sandhya her eyes lit up and she pointed at her. “You, the girl sitting beside 11th star come with me.” This time it was Sandhya who was dumbstruck. She walked towards her desk. There was still some distance between her and the desk when she sensed danger and instinctively leaped two steps back.Several wooden swords hit the place where Sandhya was a moment ago. “What the…” She looked at the front to see what was going on. Two thick branches came into her view moving towards her with tremendous speed. She ducked. A deep frown etched on her face.‘Swoosh.’Another thick branch hit her from one side. Sandhya knocked on to a desk and toppled. She activated her mana layer and blocked it but it was late. Ren had a weird expression on her face when Sandhya showed her the medicine she was holding, “The wound looked deep so went to bring medicine. While returning I came across this stall who was selling these so I bought them.” Ren looked at Sandhya’s calm face as if it’s her daily job buying medicine and sweet potatoes. She internally facepalmed herself. “Well, come in.” Sandhya nodded and entered the house. The house was nicely furnished with just the daily necessities. The front door opens directly to the living area. She put the baked potatoes on the table and her bag on a chair while Ren went into the kitchen to wash her wound. Some time passed and Sandhya entered the kitchen. Ren was standing in front of the faucet with her eyes closed while trying to put her hand underwater.
