"We'll sit at the other table on the terrace," Ma'am Charlotte said softly as she approached me, prompting me to follow her as if I were not a remote-controlled robot.

As I sat down, I closed my eyes tightly, positioning myself where I could clearly see how Bernice's arm wrapped around Ares.

Why did I plan this? I could've moved it, couldn't I? Why did I choose this day? It's annoying; I'm not satisfied with what's happening around me, I feel suffocated even though there's no reason to.

"How was your suspension?" I almost jumped when I heard Ma'am Charlotte's gentle voice.

I didn't expect her to start with that topic. Actually, I was waiting for her to get mad and blame me because Ares almost got into trouble again.

"It's fine, but somewhat sad," I replied.

She nodded slowly and looked down.

"I was actually mad at you yesterday, but when I heard Victorino's explanation, your captain, I was able to forgive you," I blinked at her words.
