Chapter Three: Planet Phenomena

Karla glanced at the remaining book study. She sighed and continued to flip pages.

“This is boring.” She said.

She stands up from her chair and counted how many books does she need to study.

“One, Two, and Three….” She scratched her head and muttered. “I need a tea.”

She walked to the library’s window and glanced at the trees in the garden. Beautiful flowers decorated the garden and a giant fountain added more beauty.

She walked to the exit door and made her way to the garden.

She sniffed the scent of mixed roses and tulips. They were so wonderful and so fragrant too. She ran to the fountain and glanced at the mossy water of the fountain.

“What is this!?” She covered her nose with the napkin and looked away.

She hid the napkin on her skirt's pouch and started to take a journey around the garden. She got tired that she decided to take a nap under a giant tree.

She woke up on a chilly night. There was no lanterns insight, but glowing trees. The moon was so big today, and there were no stars at all.

She yawned so loud and scratched her back.  She felt pain in her stomach, and when she touched it, her fingers were full of blood. She coughed, and blood started to flow from her mouth.

She wiped the blood with her hands, and then she collapsed.

“Hey! Hey!” She felt someone trying to wake her up by force. The wound was still painful, and blood dried in her mouth and her toga.

She woke up and she spitted out blood. She gasped and looked at her stomach.

Blood is everywhere, and she wore a white toga, but a blood-stained it. She looked up, she saw a red-haired boy in front of her, carrying her. There was blood in his black robe.

“Are you okay?” He asked, in a handsome accent that she never heard before in her life.

“Who…. Are…. You?” She asked him, and he smiled.

“I’m Helios Atlantes, a young warlock,” Helios said. “I am sorry for bothering your sleep moon bearer.”

“What!” She looked at him and frowned. “I am not a moon bearer! I am just a daughter of a billionaire.”

She grunted and sighed. “How can I be a bearer of a giant shiny ball?!”

He laughed. “In this world of Phenomena, everything can happen that the Earth can’t do.” He let her sit next to a tree.

“Wait what is a Phenomena?” She asked, curious about where she is.

The boy may be true, and he is not. She has read so many reincarnation books before.

“Phenomena is a planet that is responsible for taking care of Sun and Moon, the Eclipse, the eclipsis, and the blue moon. Sorcerers that are chosen to take care of these were teleported here, and they have to work until they die.”

“Why so?” She asked again.

“Because Human’s age never ended. Like what my teacher used to say, once it started there is no end.”

He turned to her.

“Why are you asking things like this even you’re a moon bearer? Or, someone just.”

He sighed and had no intention to continue.

“Someone what?”  She looked at the sky and dragons with cloud-like texture started to breathe fire and trees started to burn.

Smoke spread in the forest, startling sorcerers out of their houses.

“Hey Uhm, Mr. Helios!” She pointed to the sky, Helios looked up and saw how the dragons destroy the upper cloud valley of Phenomena. Sorcerers started to jump out of the cloud huts and fire covered the sky with black smog.

Helios grabbed the wand from his back and started to chant spells. She looked at Karla and shouted. “Help me if you don’t want to be burned to ashes!”

Karla raised her hands and closed her eyes. She doesn't have an idea what is going on.

She felt something raised her hands even higher so she opened her eyes, a white-colored ghost stood in front of her, causing the wind to slap everything. She screamed in agony as the ghost tried to break her bones, and then she flew into the air.

The ghost opened her hands wider and then the air stopped. The smog disappeared as she chants the words that didn’t come out from her mouth. The dragons flew away and their bodies started to fade. Sorcerers and Helios himself were amazed by what they saw.

She saw the ghost smile at her, and disappear as the wind goes by.

She looked at her hands, they turned into glass, and she saw who she was. White-haired girl with giant white orchids arranged like a crown in her head. Toga that covers her body, and a pearl-like orb in her side.

She was so shocked by what she saw. She is a brunette short-haired girl, not like this. She is no goddess, but a 12-year-old girl.

She checked her hands by looking at the back and the front. She touched her head; there was a crown in it. She dropped on the lawn on her feet.

Helios was so shocked by what he saw.

“Is this girl, a demigod?” He said. “How did she?”

Karla stumbled on the lawn and closed her eyes. Helios asked her

“How did you do that?"

Karla scratched her head and rolled on the lawn. She tries to hold the end of the toga so she won’t get any rashes.

Sorcerers flew down the air and watched Karla smack her head with a pink rock.

“What is she Heli?” Asked a sorcerer.

“I dunno, she might be a demigod or something else.”

The coven of sorcerers started to murmur about their thoughts about her. Helios looked at her.

“She might be the chosen moon sword-bearer.” Said a sorceress.

Helios looked at her and grunted, “She doesn’t know anything about us!”

“That’s why she is the chosen, or might be reincarnated human.” The leader of the coven said.

“Why our planet!” Muttered by a sorcerer. “They can reincarnate back to their planet as new people!”

“Shut your mouth Azaroz, shut it.” The leader glared at Azaroz.

Azaroz replied with a sigh, and they watched her fell asleep on the lawn. They saw that she had blood in her stomach, and a white orb started to show up from her side. It grown size, and then the leader chanted a spell to stop it.

“Let’s figure out what’s going on, but first, let’s gave her an appropriate dress than that toga.” The leader said.

The members of the coven nodded at the leader. Helios carried Karla on his shoulder. He followed his mates to a giant tree with a circle door.
