Chapter 7

( Pride )

The tension between the three warriors and Leomord is getting higher. Their eyes were on point with each other. Their own presence intimidated themsleves.

"This is taking a bit longer than I thought. " Leomord suddenly spoke.

The three looked at each other. 

"I agree. Maybe it's time to finish this. " Galatrina replied.

"Then, let's continue. " Leomord charged straight to Galatrina.

Leomord released multiple arrows to slow down Galatrina's movement. 

"That ain't happening! " Alucard immediately blocked the incoming arrows. 

The arrows were all shattered to pieces as soon as Alucard swing his sword.

"You're quite annoying.  " Leomord then used his lance to attack Alucard.

Alucard immediately blocked it. Then Hiyojin jumped into the air swinging his sword. He aimed for the head to secure his attack. But, a shield emerges within Leomord's body blocking Hiyojin's sword. 

"Like I would let you finish me off that easily. " Leomord uses his hair like tentacles to sent off Hiyojin away from him.

He successfully hit Hiyojin leaving a great damage. Leomord then lift his lance gathering power to throw it to Alucard.

"Alucard don't let your guard down! " Galatrina warned Alucard to the incoming attack.

Out of a sudden, Leomord released his lance. The speed of his lance is overwhelming Galatrina. Leomord created a poker face watching his lance pierce through the air.

"Alucard evade it! " Galatrina shouted at Alucard. 

Alucard concentrate all his rhyuk to his speed. The lance finally reached Alucard. But, out of the blue Alucard easily evade it in a short period of time. 

"That's amazing. " Galatrina praised Alucard in her mind.

But Leomord is standing still like he knows what's gonna happen. He smiled and open his eyes. Then, he disappeared out of thin air. The three panicked as they do not know what happened. 

"Where is he? " Galatrina looked everywhere to find Leomord. 

Then suddenly,  Alucard is stabbed on his back. Galatrina quickly noticed it. Leomord is behind Alucard holding a sword that stabbed Alucard. 

"Alucard! " Galatrina panicked and rush to Alucard.

Leomord was about to cut Alucard's neck, but Hiyojin stopped him. Hiyojin aimed for his head again. But like the other attack, Leomord easily blocked it with his shield. Out of the ordinary, Hiyojin continued to attack Leomord's shield.

"Give it up, my shield is harder than any kind of steel. You can't even scratch it. " Leomord gaze at Hiyojin struggling to break his shield.

Finally, Galatrina confronted Leomord swinging her sword aiming for Leomord's hand. 

"Like I said, give it up. I commend you three for reaching this far, but it's all over. " Leomord's body released a numerous arrows which pushed Galatrina away.

But Hiyojin take the attack using his body as a shield. He continued to attack Leomord's shield.

"Desperation won't let you achieve anything. " Leomord spoke.

"I'm not desperate. It's only the way of mine to activate my skill. " Hiyojin replied with a blood on his mouth.

"What do you mean?  " Leomord asked in confusion.

"You'll see what I really mean. " Hiyojin smiled back as he continue to attack Leomord.

Suddenly, Leomord's shield was sliced into half. Leomord was shocked of the result. Out of confusion, he released multiple arrows to create a distance between them. He jumped back as he continued to release his arrows.

"What happened to my shield? " Leomord asked himself.

He looked at his shoulder with a wound. He was confused about Hiyojin's attack. 

"Now that my ability is activated, I will surely take you down. " Hiyojin emerges within the smoke screen with a blood all over his body. 

"I don't know what you're taking about but, don't be so sure. " Leomord charged towards Hiyojin.

His hand released a lance pointing at Hiyojin. He charged his lance to Hiyojin but Hiyojin easily avoid it. Then, Hiyojin jumped mid air swinging his sword. Leomord's body released a shield to block Hiyojin's attack. But, Hiyojin cut it like a thin paper.

"Don't get to excited. " Leomord swing his lance hitting Hiyojin's body.

But still, Hiyojin grabbed Leomord's lance using it as a stone to jumped even higher. When he finally reached the highest distance in mid air. He let himself rushed down pointing his sword at Leomord on the ground. 

"You're crazy! Even if you manage to land a hit, your body can't whistand the impact from that kind of tactic! " Leomord shouted at the air breaking his sweat on his face.

With no response from Hiyojin, Leomord then created a large shield to protect himself from Hiyojin. 

"That won't save you. " Hiyojin whispered in the air.

Then, a large bang destroyed the whole ground with a large crater in sight.

"Hiyojin! " Galatrina screamed as the smoke dust covered the whole area.

Galatrina closed Alucard's wound to help him regain his strength. As she heal Alucard, a sight of Leomord was exposed to the dust.

"Impossible!  " Galatrina was shocked as she saw Leomord's body torned in half, but despite his situation, he uses his sword as a tool to help him regain his balance. While Hiyojin is lying on the ground with his blood covering his entire body.   

Leomord reverts back to his human form after the damage. While Alucard is recovering from the past injury. Galatrina confronted Leomord in his human form.

"Do you think you have the advantage after what happened? I don't think so. " Leomord spoke weakly.

"Despite what happened, your strength is still powerful. " Galatrina replied. 

"And that's the main reason why you have no chance of winning. " Leomord smiled at Galatrina. 

"That's not the case though. " Galatrina smiled back.

"What do you mean? " Leomord asked.

"Because, as a former number 1, I still has my pride to eliminate my opponent even though the odds are against me. " Galatrina answered with a smile.

The wind blows as the two stands toe to toe with the odds are against themselves. Leomord picked Hiyojin's sword as a weapon. While Galatrina focused all her power as a last resort to defeat the beast in front of her.

"Here I come! " Galatrina charged with his might and speed to attack Leomord. 

Leomord replied back by blocking Galatrina's attack.

"Lets finish this. " Leomord smiled as the blood on his cheeks was exposed to Galatrina.
