Chapter 16

Victor's POV

Next day I decided to catch the figure. So I hid in the jungle around the time the person sneaked out. I didn't have to wait for long. Soon she came dressed all back and went into the jungle. I followed her silently. I have been trained since childhood so she can't notice. But still I was extra careful as I still don't know who she is exactly and what she is hiding.

She walked for 15 minutes approx and stood in front of a tree. There she bent down for a minute, got up and left in the direction from where she came. I came out of the hiding after she left and went to the tree to take a look.

Six boiled eggs are on the ground and some crumbs of eggs around them. I stayed there for sometime and left.

I followed her for three nights straight. Everyday she would sneak out at the same time, go to the same tree, stay there for a minute to put down the eggs and would leave.

Everyday the previous eggs would be missing. I want to find out who is taking the eggs. I have a doubt as i
