Chapter 34

In the middle of the night two phones dinged. Amber looked at the pic sent by Aunt Lucy and smiled.

-Plan accomplished!-

She put down the phone and went back to sleep. It was her plan. First she made Veronica drunk then she tipped a waiter and booked all the empty rooms in the hotel so that Victor couldn't find any room for Veronica and third step was she made a call at home telling her father to come pick her up as she was drunk, can't drive but she miss them and wanna go home tonight.

Aunt Lucy was her partner in crime as she gave all the maids and servants an early off today.

It wasn't a high profile plan but rather a simple one but Victor still got played in the hands of these two women. It wasn't that Victor was not smart, it was just that he never would have thought that the tricks Amber used on Lucas can also be used on him by her.

He was overconfident in himself and underestimated Amber and thus was caught off guard by her.
