Chapter 36

"Now I don't wanna know."

Veronica retorted.

Her eyes were filled with firmness. She doesn't want to get more embarrassed than she already was.

Before Victor could start anything else she decided to escape.

" I need to get ready for the training so I will be leaving first."

Saying that Veronica scurried away immediately.

Victor watched Veronica leaving with amusement and a smile appeared on his lips.

But as soon as she left his eyes his smile also vanished and his face became cold.

He looked at the signed papers. He doesn't love her, at least not yet. He had his reasons for signing this marriage agreement with her but love is not one of them. But he is attracted towards her though and there is something stopping him from converting this attraction into love.

His emotions were complex as he looked at the signature on the papers.

The phone in his pants vibrated. He took it out and after checking the caller id he accepted the call and only said four words.

"Come to my office."
