"Have a glass of orange juice, maybe you would feel better after drinking it."

"Hmmm."

She replied while holding her head in her hands.

She looked up at me and took the glass of 'juice' I was giving her and drank it.

I felt bad for playing tricks on her but what can I do? The future of my brother also matters. They will thank me later just like Lucas and Grace.

After knowing that there is no one playing underhanded tricks and it was just the bride and the groom's plan I let go of whatever was stopping me from drinking .

I got drunk pretty fast and so was Veronica. She was slumped on the bar counter looking at me with fuzzy eyes.
