Chapter 14

Leilani's POV 

And again, I can't sleep. It's already midnight pero naglalakbay pa rin ang isip ko sa kakaisip sa kanya. I know I shouldn't feel this way since nasaktan ako ng nag announce sila sa publiko sa engagement nila but a big part of me feels that I'm longing for his presence. 

Mayamaya pa, I heard the sound of Lysander's car. My heart beat erratically but I stopped myself not to go near the window just to have a single glimpse of him. 

Nanatili akong nakahiga sa kama until I heard the door opened. Napalingon ako. There, I saw Lysander who's tiredness is visible in his entire face. I fight the urge to run to him.
