It was a little hard to pull away from her since she held onto my shoulder as we kissed. With the way we stood, any onlooker would think Evelyn was the one who initiated the kiss.

For some reason I couldn't explain, Robbie asking Eve out in my presence had pissed the fuck out of me. Because of that, I decided to act like a bad boy to her only to see how she would react.

When I kissed Evelyn, my mind went mostly blank, and all I could think of was her. I could feel her breath on my face as our tongues fought for dominance.

Amidst everything, what surprised me the most was that Evelyn kissed me back. The funniest thing was that I hadn't actually planned on kissing Evelyn today. Or anytime in the future.

My hands left her waist and went a little lower. Well, not for long, because Evelyn pushed me away and turned her face away from me.

“I can't breathe,” Eve said, drying her lips with the back of her palm.
