Target Locked

The bots made another move three days later, on an early Saturday morning they locked on their targets, invading the house of two of the top council members on the vampire side holding hostages and threatening to kill them as they went live.

They had declared war.

They hacked into every audio source just like how they had done the last time, connecting to everyone through their phones, televisions, even smart watches.

Lanie and I sat in her parlor with her mum and her twin , our eyes glued to the television as the bots rounded up the vampires from each house in one place.

"Why aren't they doing anything?", Luther shouted at the television, his voice coated in frustration. "I thought the vampires had the advantage of being faster and shit, what's going on here?"

"Something's not right", I whispered, and all eyes turned to me.

"See", I pointed to the television, "Their eyes are all going to something in the corner there."

"Something that's giving them this look of disbelief and fear".
