Chapter 12 : Get, set and party!

We reached Elle's place within thirty minutes. She had texted me her address before. I was accompanied by Chris, so I didn't have to recheck the address.

Thanks to Chris's seamless driving abilities, we were only one hour late.

Though I would like to give some extra credit to myself.

"You brought the party pass right?" I asked.

"Of course I did, even though we don't need it," Chris muttered.

After our check-in with the security guard, we drove inside and Chris parked his car in the parking section that was lined with numerous expensive vehicles.

Elle's eighteenth birthday party was organized outside Elle's house. We walked through the well-maintained lawn towards the venue.

The decoration was chief's kiss. I gazed around to assess my surrounding.

I was awestruck by the decorations, lights, the stage and the huge five tire cake!

Beside the stage, there was a music band who were playing some party pep that was blaring from the speakers, spreading everywhere.
