"Or perhaps I could just ask her." Mia said with a sniff then pulled back.
"Would that work?" Landon asked curiously.
"Let her try." Brandon answered.
She wiped off the tears and took in a deep breath then released it.
I could hear her thoughts clearly. She planned on asking me nicely. But if I wasn't going to give in into taking over and shifting. She was going to do the very thing that our mates would hate the most. That was to put our life in danger.
"Hey, can you hear me?" She asked silently.
"Loud and clear." I answered.

She exclaimed on top of her voice.I smiled then moved closer and leaned in kissing her cheek."You worrying about us is very heart fluttering, but we need to do this so stay back and wait for us to clear your room." I said softly."No!" She answered strongly and rushed out of the kitchen surprising us.
