The day arrived.The day when the hearing was being held in the court.The female officers came to take Sia to the court early in the morning and she walked behind them silently after getting handcuffed.The drive to the court felt like she had travelled years. The reporters were outside of the prison but the police had kept them away from Sia.As she was pulled out of the police van outside of the court, Sia's eyes found all the reporters waiting there for her as well.“ Ms Sia Martin! AUTHOR'S POV “ Sia! ” Louis called out to her as soon as the hearing was over and she turned her head at him, to stare him down emotionlessly. Gulping, he marched to her and stopped at a distance, hesitantly. Sia could see his reluctance clearly shining in his eyes but she did not care anymore. She really did not care about anything. “ I will be taking my leave now, Ms Martin. ” Austin Wayne announced from behind Sia with his hawk like eyes observing Louis. “ Sure. Thank you and Goodbye. ” Sia shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly without sparing him a glance as her eyes were busy gazing at Louis. AUTHOR'S POV “ What is it? Tell me now. ” Sia sat down on the couch leisurely after she took shower and dressed up in a grey sweater and black jeans. She had asked Mr. Darwin Easter to wait earlier because she was not prepared to listen to whatever he was going to tell her next. Lucas's will? What did Sia have to do with Lucas's will? AUTHOR'S POV “ I left her at the gate of the orphanage to save her life. ” The man said in a hoarse whisper. If there was not a mini mic attached to his shirt, Sia would not have been able to even hear his voice through the video playing. Confusion washed over Sia combined with dread that the man in the video might be talking about her. Her hands were trembling as she clicked on the pause button and the video stopped. Was she ready for it? No. No. She was not ready. She did not want to know whatever it was but staring at the man, she knew she needed to know what it was all about. With her shaky fingers, Sia pressed on the button again and the video starting running. “ Tell everything from the start. ” Lucas's cold voice appeared from behind the camera again and Sia held her breath. AUTHOR'S POV Standing in front of two old graves, Sia did not know what she exactly felt. She never knew these two people. Luther Martin and Lily Martin yet their connection was deeper than anything else. Their blood ran in her veins and pumped through her heart. But she was not used to this. Her whole life, she had known only herself and her loneliness. Nothing else. She was so used to it that the term family scared her now. Shaking her head, Sia turned around to leave. They were dead and she had to move on from all of it once again. All important people in her life were either dead or they left her like Harry was going to do. AUTHOR'S POV Sia embraced Emma closer not knowing what to say as a lump formed in her throat immediately. Emma placed her head on her shoulder and did not say anything else either. Sia's eyes travelled upto meet Hardin's baby blue orbs that were already staring at her with an unrecognizable emotion shining in them. “ I won't cry if you won't cry. ” Emma sniffed after a while and pulled away wiping her eyes with her small hands. Sia heaved in a heavy breath before grabbing his hands and pushing them off her arms. She looked in his eyes for a moment before replying in a determined tone. “ I am going to take Emma and I am going to leave from here. I am going to go somewhere far from here. ” Hardin's eyes went wide realising what she was hinting at. She was talking about leaving him. She was telling him that it was over between them. Sia wondered but could not find the answer to that. She guessed, she would find out in a while. Hardin dragged Sia to the room on the upper floor which was his as she recognized instantly. The combination was maroon and black. It gave off an eery vibe just like his personality. He pulled her inside and closed the door behind them smoothly with a click. Sia took in the interior of the room. There was a huge king sized bed in the middle with black sheets and maroon duvet and pillows.
