JONATHAN'S POV

I was to be sent back into the Blood Moon Pack with Charlotte to "beg for mercy" at the feet of Xandria to let us back into her pack. If not, we'll go to Liam. But Xandria isn't as heartless as she seems.

She opened up to me at one point when I marked her, but now she's even more closed off more than ever. It would be difficult to break her hard shell, but I would be successful, I know it.

We were traveling, our clothes ripped on purpose to appear broken. We stumbled across the border, my arm wrapped around Charlotte and Charlotte's arm around my shoulders to pretend that she was hurt.
