CHAPTER 15 - HONEYMOON

He gently placed Katleah on the comfortable bed. He locked his gaze on her for a long moment before kissing her. "My wife, I love you. I can't let you go. I'd go insane if something terrible happened to you."

"Hey, babe, what are you doing? I'm not sure why, but you've been talking like that since you arrived earlier. Nothing bad will happen to me, okay? Didn't I promise you that I'd be there for you no matter what? I'm always here for you, babe." She spoke in hushed tones to her husband. Katleah carefully watched her husband, and she could see tears welling up in his eyes. He felt that he was hiding a problem.

"Tell me what's on your mind, babe; I'm ready to listen. I'm your wife now, and I don't want you to leave me, babe. I might be surprised..." His lips pressed against Katleah's open lips, interrupting what she was saying.
