CHAPTER 5: Foolish Act

Alexander's POV

Today is the day I turn seventeen, I'm not excited to find my mate. Having a mate is a bother, I don't want to be tied to one person.

I want to fool around till I'm 28, and maybe by that time I might change my mind and settle down with my mate.

But fuck this is annoying! I can't take over the alpha position without my mate. 

So I had no choice but to find her and mark her. I went to school in ripped jeans and a Black leather jacket.

I was walking in the hallway when I caught a very sweet and addictive scent coming from one of the classrooms.

I followed the scent till I saw her. The one who's giving off the addictive smell.

' What the hell!!! '

' Don't Tell me she's my mate? ' I said internally.

'of course, she is! Our mate is so beautiful..' Xander my wolf said.

' Beautiful? Are you kidding me? Can't you see? She looks disgusting!' I told my wolf.

The smell's so strong that it's making my knees numb. I left in a hurry with disgust seeing my mate.

'THERE'S NO WAY I WOULD WANT HER! NEVER!' I shouted internally.

' She's our mate Alexander.. we are meant to love her and cherish her no matter what she looks like!' my wolf said.

' No!! We're rejecting her!! ' I said sternly.

' No!! We're not!' He replied.

' Yes! We will!' I said leaving no room for argument.

I went to her classroom only to bump into Natalie, we're outside their door when Natalie hugged me and kiss me on my lips. 

I saw her looked our way. I smirked and hold Natalie's head to kiss her back.

She didn't look hurt or sad seeing me with Natalie, she just looked away. Her expression saying she didn't care.

That's when it hit me, she mustn't have turned 17 yet. And is unaware I'm her mate.

I went to find her records and found out that her birthday's next month.  I decided to wait till she turns seventeen since she still has no idea about us being mates.

It's been a week since I turned seventeen. I've been watching my supposed-to-be mate, and every time I see her I can't help feeling disgusted.

She looks like a beggar among socialites. 

And just like that, I waited for her birthday to come. 

' She's finally turning seventeen tomorrow. I can't wait to reject that ugly woman!' 

Strangely my wolf didn't argue with my decision anymore. Well, whatever! That must mean she's disgusting, even my wolf can't stand her.

I feel so good today thinking I will finally end the disgusting mate bond with that woman.

I went inside the campus and saw Natalie waiting for me, I'm in the mood so I grabbed her hand and dragged her to a corner and make out with her.

I haven't been able to bring myself to sleep with another woman the moment I found my mate, and it's already been a month. Stupid mate bond!

But today I won't let the mate bond stop me.

"I heard she's turning seventeen today! When I see her I'll reject her right away! There's no way I'll accept a weak and ugly woman as my mate!" I said as I kiss Natalie's neck.

Natalie won't know who my mate exactly is, but she does know I've found her.

" I better be there when that happens...hmmm... I want to see your mate's pathetic face after you reject her. Ughhhh!!!"  Natalie moaned as I cupped her breast.

I was enjoying myself when I smelled a very sweet scent. And I hate to admit that her scent's turning me on so much.

" Good timing! Save's me the trouble of looking for you!" I said.

I'm sure she'll do everything she can to cling to me and beg me not to reject her, considering how perfect I am.

I'll make sure to torture her every day. Seeing me with someone else will surely break her apart.

"Can't we finish this fast? I have a class to attend." My mate said.

What the hell's wrong with this woman? Does she not care at all? 

There's no way! She must be acting tough to gain my attention.

That's what I thought.

" I Vanessa Hudgens, hereby reject you, Alexander Moon, as my mate!" She said with a disgusted face.

And then she left.

What the hell? 

What just happened?

I was so shocked that I wasn't able to utter a single word.

How dare this woman reject me. It was supposed to be me who rejects her.

When she was about fifteen meters away from us, she stopped and took her jacket, cap, and mask off that's covering her appearance.

And just like that.

Damn!

She's so fucking gorgeous!

I just realized what a great mistake I've made. So that's the reason why she's so confident in rejecting me.

Natalie may be the hottest girl in school but she pales in comparison to this woman.

She's so fucking hot when she bit her lip and winked at me. I swear I would have fucked her right there and then. Had she not covered herself and shown me her appearance in the first place.

I'm a sucker for pretty faces and this woman's beauty in front of me can't even be described in just words, her beauty's just so out of the world. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.

I can't believe I planned to reject such a perfect woman as my mate.

I have to get her back. I can't let anyone have her, her beauty's only for me to see.

I entered school earlier than usual today. I need to see my mate and claim her as mine so no one else will ever try stealing what's mine.

Natalie came and wrap her hands around mine, she seems to have been deluding herself that she's my woman.

Vanessa then came and saw us.

And I was like, ' Wow she's so hot in those High waisted jeans and off-shoulder top' 

Well, I'm sure she'll look good in anything she wears.

She want to leave and act like I don't exist at all, which annoyed me.

" I'll give you another chance to be with me as my mate!" I said.

"No thanks!" She replied without even giving it a second thought.

" Why? You're my mate!" I said in a loud voice making sure to note the word MATE for everyone to hear.

She seemed to be pissed off that everyone has known we're mates.

And for the first time, I felt my confidence shattered.

How could this woman not want me? I have everything a girl would ever want from a man.

I'm handsome, well-built, and soon to be alpha. She can be my luna, I can give her whatever she wants, so much more than those punks following her can ever give.

Natalie and Vanessa started to have a heated argument when I caught on to what Natalie said, her being my luna and Vanessa as a mate and nothing more.

What the hell is this bitch even talking about? There's no way I'd make this whore my luna.

Vanessa showed a reaction whenever she's called weak, so I followed what Natalie said of her not being my luna.

She seemed so annoyed when I kept on saying she's weak and how unfit she is as a luna.

Until she finally snapped at Natalie's loudmouth.

And finally asked Natalie for a fight.

I also want to see just how strong she is, seeing how much she hates being called weak.

They started fighting, she was able to avoid Natalie's every attack, and I can tell from her movements that Natalie has got no chance of winning.

She suddenly got distracted and she's about to look somewhere but got kicked away. I looked in the direction she tried to look at before she got kicked. 

And then I saw a retreating image of a man.
