DECISION

      Trevor and his father were back in the living room staring at each other without a word. Trevor decided to break the awkward silence between them.

      "How is your health?" he asked after clearing his throat loudly.

      "Well, as you can see," the old man replied pointing to himself. "I'm alive and breathing. That's all that matters." he added with a smile.

      "What do the doctors say? " Trevor further inquired.

       "They want me to undergo a kidney transplant by the end of the month. We are still looking for a match." he replied slowly and tried to stretch his hands.

         "I wish you all the best." Trevor replied and lowered his head.

      "How's your mother?" 

"She's fine. She's doing good and she sends her regards."
