I was about leaving the office when Mason walked in.
I have never felt so late in my life. If only I had gotten ready five minutes earlier.
" Hunter. Hey how have you been?" Mason greeted with a smile on his face and I tried to mimick his gesture, but my facial muscles refused.
" I've been alright I guess. And as much as I would love to stay and chat, I know you aren't here to see me"
He scratched behind his head, meaning I had caught him.
" Err- I'm actually here to see both of you"

The office was closed by now because the time, I assume is between five and six and I'm seated in my office with an almost empty bottle of whiskey. Iris's p.o.v.I woke up to a familiar scent and feeling around me.Rolling over and opening my eyes, I realized that I was in my bedroom and I don't recall coming back here.The sky looked dim outside so I was either up early or really late. Iris's P.O.V.------- I was frozen. A cold shiver ran down my spine that made me wonder if the blue flickers in my vision were actual works of imagination or a dramatic change in weather.
