Rick angrily climbed upstairs, muttering under his breath. "Seriously, who does she think she is to give me orders?" he questioned, shooting a glance at Sop. "Just because she manages to warm the boss's bed, she now thinks she's in charge. What nonsense," he cursed as he stepped into the corridor.

"Oh, Mr. Rick!" he heard his name and turned

"Yes?" It was a maid. "Is there something you want?" he asked impatiently.

"Oh no, it's just... I heard some noise back in the East wing, and I wanted to inform Madam Natalie," she reported nervously.

"The East Wing? What were you doing there?" Rick asked her suspiciously. "No one is supposed to be in the East Wing," he glared at her, his tone filled with suspicion.

"I’m sorry, sir, but Miss Rust asked me to keep Sir Michael out of the sitting room, and I thought the East wing was the safest place for him to be. However, a few minutes ago, I heard a scattering sound, so I decided to go out and check, but I found you instead," the maid finishes
