Chapter ten

She led me into the dressing room and then pointed at the chair.

The dressing room was big; two gigantic mirrors were at the front and the back of it. A chair to sit on, a big shelf to keep things on, and some kind of hanger to put your clothes on.

"Luna, please sit while we get the clothes the Alpha personally selected for you."

"He selected clothes for me."

She nodded. "Yes, he narrowed it down to five custom-made gowns, Luna."

My eyes widened. "Custom made?"

"Yes, Luna."

Custom-made gowns are usually very expensive, and Hayden loved to buy the ostentatious ones. I can remember how much he spent on the gown I wore when I was shown to the pack. He splashed ten million dollars in one silver-long, tight dress. And all through the night, when someone complimented them, I tried to resist telling them the price.

"How much does each one cost?"

She shrugged. "Please do not ask me; I am forbidden by the Alpha to tell you that. But I can get something to drink if you want."
