CHAPTER-17: DINNER

My stomach clenched because of his statement but I slid it away. I don't need to care about my reputation here. And I definitely don't care about what they say about me. I am all good unless they decide to harm me.

I had set my sole purpose to escape this hell and find my brother from now on.

I was pacing back and forth with tension. It was past eight and I was already becoming restless. I didn't see Him after that, not that I wished for but the question was on the tip of my tongue whose answers I wanted to rip out of him.

I wanted to ask him about my brother but would I really be able to hear the truth if He would say He killed him with his bloody claws.

The knock sounded on my door pulled me out of my assuming thoughts.

“Who is there?” I asked nervously.

A girl in her teenage years opened the door and bowed in respect.
