Mj started washing the blood from her swollen hands when Moxie’s knowing grin crowded the doorway to the bathroom she was standing in, “Me, Jay and Tanner are getting ready to take off sha,” he drew out in an a practically bored tone, and she nodded, mindlessly agitating her fingers beneath the running water. As the hours passed, Mj kept herself awake with the sadistic joy she got from waiting until Casper’s eyes drifted shut and his breathing slowed before she would kick his chair and watch his body jolt itself cognizant. The swelling and bruises on his face had started to subside, the blood on his face and clothes had long since dried, but the terrified tremors still plagued his entire frame. Mj continued her subtle, psychological torture, sometimes jumping up from her seat and charging toward Casper, only to spin herself around the rear of his armchair and head for the kitchen or simply sit back down and stretch her legs. Every time she moved close to him, the mentally worn man tied to the chair would clamp his lips shut as tightly as possible and whimper with fear of the unknown. The sun hung at its highest point in the sky as Ace stood out on the balcony with his skull and arms draped over the side. Trying to get a small reprieve from the horrific events taking place just behind him.
