Rain stared at Beta James. This man was her biological father, and he confirmed the vision given to her by her unborn child. She felt a sudden warmth within her, wondering if it was her baby causing her to feel that way or because she finally knew about her past.

“Why are you telling me this now?”Rain asked Beta James. He studied her face as if he was in deep thought. She couldn’t tell if she saw fear or anticipation from his facial expressions.

“What did Christian show you?” He asked her. Rain wasn’t surprised that he knew that she had gotten a vision from her unborn child or that he knew his name.

“Christian?” Tony said in confusion.

“Rain’s mother saw both of your futures, including your son’s future. He will be unlike anyone in this pack,” Beta James explained. There was a long pause, Rain watching Tony as he came to the realization that he was going to have a son.

“He showed me the day you took me to live with Emma,” Rain said truthfully.

“That was the last day I saw your mother. Her name was Jennifer. She was part of the Moon pack, but she didn’t agree with their customs. Our relationship is what caused the war between our packs. But, you can’t resist who you share a mate bond with.” He said sadly. Rain witnessed sadness in his eyes. Losing her birth mother had broken apart of Beta James. She knew that he was suffering, even though it had been years since she passed away. There would always be apart of him that would never recover from losing his mate. Rain felt grief at the thought of losing Tony. Although they barely knew each other, she would be devastated if she lost him.

“How did she die?” Rain asked, not sure she wanted to hear his answer. She felt her heart began to race in anticipation. She now knew the truth about her birth parents, but she had a strong feeling that there was more to their story than she could ever foresee. Did she want to know the truth? Rain wasn’t sure what she was feeling in that moment, so all she could do was listen to what her birth father had to say.

“Alpha Leo took her life because Alpha Gene of the Moon pack took the life of his mate, which was Tony’s mother. He thought it was only fair, regardless of Jennifer not wanting to be apart of the Moon pack.” Beta James said sadly, glancing at Tony.

“How is that fair? She was your mate and you are part of our pack,” Tony said angrily. The look on his face was pure rage at the pain that his father was responsible for Beta James’s sorrow.

“Yeah, well, that didn’t matter in his eyes. Jennifer tried to protect your mother from Gene. But when she sensed that Jennifer was pregnant, your mother pushed her out the way and took the blow that killed her. It’s ironic that you l share the mate bond with our daughter,” Beta James said and smiled.

“Why are you telling us all of this? And how is the baby able to give Rain visions?” Tony asked.

“Because he’s an Ultima Alpha, the strongest alpha that has ever existed. He’ll be able to control all wolves from all packs. Rain’s mother asked me to warn you about your father Tony,” Beta James told him.

“What about my father?” Tony asked with caution.

“He will try to eliminate your son. He will never approve of Rain. And once he finds out she is my daughter, he will try and kill her as well.”Beta James explained.

“What do you want us to do?” Rain asked, wrapping her arms around herself. She couldn’t bear for anyone to harm her child. It would destroy her.

“Leave this place. I will tell Alpha Leo that I sent you on a private mission because you both exceeded your training. This way you won’t be labeled as rogues. Do not return until after your son is born. Emma will be expecting his arrival. Take him to her once he is born and return here. It’s the only way he survives. Are we clear?” Beta James explained in a serious tone.

“Yes Beta.” Rain and Tony said in unison. It was clear that Beta James was trying to protect both of them and their unborn child. Neither one of them wanted to question him in fear of losing their child’s life. They would comply and leave as he commanded. Rain had no idea what to expect, but she was well aware that her life was about to change.

After Beta James left, Tony and Rain sat together in silence. Rain didn’t know much about Ultima Alphas. They were wolves of legends. From stories that Emma told her as a child, the Ultima Alphas held unique abilities. They could control all lower ranking wolves. She knew her son would be in danger if anyone discovered what he was. As for the Moon pack, Rain heard stories of how Alpha Leo sent the Shadow pack wolves to eliminate wolves of the Moon pack. It was a gruesome fight, and no one survived. That was Rain realized she was the only survivor of their pack. She didn’t hold special abilities such as the ability of sight like her birth mother or son, but she had strength. When one wolf of a pack dies, the strength of that wolf is divided amongst the other wolves of the same pack. It would explain why Rain was always undefeated in each of her combat training sessions. She held the strength of her entire pack.

“We must do as Beta James commands. For our son. It as if history is repeating itself. Emma will have to raise him for his own safety. We will never be able to reveal his true identity until he is of age.” Tony spoke l, Rain looking at him.

“I know. We need to go as soon as possible. The other candidates and our superiors will easily smell and hear that I am pregnant.” Rain agreed with him.

It only took an hour for both Rain and Tony packed their bags for their departure. Everyone was still at the arena talking about when the challenge would be rescheduled. Grabbing their bags, Rain and Tony saw a car waiting for them out front. They looked to each other in confusion, but Rain immediately smiled when Emma stepped out of the vehicle.

“Mom?” Rain said in confusion.

“I know this must be a lot, but everything will be ok Rain. As much as I’d like to catch up, we must go,” Emma spoke in determination.

“I understand. I’m ready. Are you?” Rain said softly, looking at Tony.

“For you? Always,” Tony said and they smiled to one another. They quickly packed their bags in the car and got in, Emma driving off. Rain didn’t realize how exhausted she was until she leaned her head on Tony’s shoulder. She knew that her baby was now safe, so it allowed her to relax. As Rain began drifting off into a deep sleep, she knew her new life was just starting. With Tiny and Emma beside her, she knew there was nothing to fear.

And that was when she drifted off into a deep sleep, wrapped in Tony’s arms in the back seat of Emma’s car. There was only silence and a sense of peace.

Tony hated hospitals with a passion. Being in the building reminded him constantly of how he failed to protect his mate and child. The rage he felt was endless, especially because it was his own father that had caused him to lose what he loved most. What had he done to deserve this fate? Why was he allowed to live instead of Rain and Christian? His father had broken several of his bones to prevent him from saving his family, but Tony desire was to die alongside them. The agony that he felt when he felt Rain’s life slip away was unbearable. It made him feel as if his life was meaningless. Even in an unconscious state, he felt every ounce of Rain being murdered. It was bad enough that he witnessed his son’s throat being violently torn out by his own father. And he had just sworn to the love of his life that he would always protect their son. It was early in the morning when Tony had awaken from his coma. It took a few days for his body to recover enough to wake him from his injuries.

  • Legendary Ultima Alpha   Chapter 12: Christian

Rain couldn’t be happier in her life. After leaving Shadow Academy, Emma took them to a secluded cabin miles away deep within an isolated forest. She knew that this was the same cabin location from the vision her unborn child shared with her. Months had passed and Rain had given birth to a handsome baby boy. She named him Christian, just as his name was always destined to be. A year had passed since they fled the academy, and Christian was now 3 months old. Giving birth had been quite the experience for Rain. She had such a complicated birthing experience that she almost lost her life. In the end, both her and her baby pulled through just fine. She spent most days cuddling her infant, knowing that her time with him was limited. He was handsome like Tony, having his father’s incredible gray eyes. Unlike Tony’s brownish hair, Christian had golden blonde hair like Rain. He was indeed a very powerful and special child. Not only did he share his visions with them often, Christian never b

The sunlight from Tony’s bedroom window woke Rain up the next morning. She had never felt as rested as she did in that moment. It was so early that no one in the dorms were awake. Rain quickly sat up, realizing she fell asleep in the male dorm area. According to the rules, she could be locked up in a dungeon or beaten for breaking this sacred rule. “Relax, you won’t be punished. I will never let anything happen to you,” Tony spoke and Rain looked up to see Tony staring at her. They smiled to one another, Tony sitting up and kissing her softly on her lips. Rain relaxed, all her fears evaporating whenever he touched her. “I still should get back. Make sure you win today,” she told him and smiled. “If you are there, then I will make sure I keep my title,” he told her. Rain dressed and snuck out of his room. She quickly walked to the female dorms when she ran into Alpha Leo. Despite falling for his son, Rain had a strong feeling that Alpha would never approve of them being togethe

Rain cried until she passed out from exhaustion. She fell into a deep sleep on one of the lounge chairs. When she opened her eyes, Tony was sitting on the ground beside her. He must have been there for a while because he was fast asleep. She slowly sat up and he opened his eyes, sitting up to look at her. “Why are you here?” She asked sadly, exhaustion in her voice. “I’m sorry Rain,” he apologized. “You don’t owe me anything.” She said emotionless. “It doesn’t change that I hurt you.” He told her sympathetically. Their eyes locked, but Rain forced herself to look away from him. She stood up and fixed her clothes. “Just stay away from me. It’ll make it easier for the both of us,” she told him. “You can’t hurt people I sleep with because you’re angry with me,” he told her. “I’ll do whatever the fuck I please. Who’s going to stop me? You?” Rain said coldly and she could see fear in his eyes. “I only fucked around with Mya because I wanted to forget you. I wasn’t thinking

  • Legendary Ultima Alpha   Chapter 8: Undefeated

For the rest of the week, Rain stayed in her dorm crying. Kylie stayed by her side after Rain told her what happened in the library. Kylie tried to cheer her up, but there was nothing she could say that would make Rain feel as if she hadn’t been rejected by her mate. The night before the first day of training, Rain woke up in the middle of the night screaming in pain. Tony was being intimate with someone and her wolf lost her fucking shit. Rain’s wolf felt feelings of rage, pain, and envy simultaneously. Her mate was with another woman and her wolf was grieving by his actions. Why was he doing this to her? He knew it would hurt her. Kylie laid in bed with Rain, her scent soothing her just enough to lessen her pain. They fell asleep together, Rain crying herself to sleep. Rain woke up the next morning pissed off. She knew it was her wolf making her feel that way. She felt as if she were in a daze as she dressed in her uniform and readied herself for training. After she dressed, sh
