I called him three times before he picked up.

"Who is it?" A woman's voice sounded. I could feel my anger rising.

"I'm his father!" I retorted angrily. Just as I was about to hang up, I heard the noisy music from over the other end.

Did he go to the bar and drown his sorrows?

"Where is this place?" I asked politely.

Perhaps she was confused by my sudden change of attitude, the woman uttered the name of the bar in a daze.

When I got home, I quickly put on some makeup and changed. I rushed to the bar.

As soon as I entered the room, I saw Jack sitting on the sofa, holding a glass of wine in his hand. He didn't seem to be drunk or unconscious enough for someone to answer the phone for him.

The lady was very beautiful and sexy. She was wearing a low-cut sling top and sitting next to him with a smile.

I walked over in my high heels, ready for a fight.

"Do you still recognize me?" I took the wine glass from Jack's hand.

He raised his head and glanced at me. "My neighbor."
