Chapter Nine

Ivy's POV

My life nowadays has been home to office, office to home and in all honesty I was not complaining because I loved being sheriff. I had moved out if Christy and Ron's house and returned to my home and I was loving living alone. I had solved multiple problems and cases and although my way was technically not how most of the sergeants I've worked with thought the problem could be solved I proved to them time and time again that I knew what I was doing. A bunch of cases we solved were popular so they made it to the news and I had to be interviewed for some of them and just like that I was living my dreams.

It was a Monday morning and I was feeling sluggish so I got to the office later than it was usual for me and I meet a pile of paperwork on my table that needed my signature on them and I try to put it off by doing any other thing than it but toward noon I start to find my energy back and I really get to start doing the work.
