"It feels like it's been forever since we've had a chat just you and me. How's things going at the bar darlin'?" My mom sets a cup of coffee down in front of me on the kitchen table and then sits next to me with her own. Brody is at school while both Sophie and Katie are taking a nap and everyone else is either on the farm or at the pub. "I know, Ma. The bar is going great but things have been crazy busy these past few weeks, especially with getting ready for the twins."

She nods her head excitement pouring out of her, She's not been shy in showing how excited she is for the twin's arrival but then again she's always been the same with all of my children.
