Lilith POV
“Who does he think he is anyways,”
I mumbled to myself, sitting in the kitchen, pouring me another shot of— what's the name? I picked up the bottle, trying to read the label... Yeah, whiskey. Why did he show up here unannounced, maybe he came to see if he left me heartbroken, sending his brother to tell me about his girlfriend back home was a coward move and I hated him for it?
Remembering the necklace from earlier, I pulled it from my pocket, holding it in mid-air, studying it.
I don't how to explain what I experienced today and if I tell anyone they are going to think that I am crazy, and I know I'm not. I don't know what the library ghost meant,
'take this necklace, it will protect you until you can protect yourself'.
